Striker 00113 Tough Skin Gloves Lightweight Fingerless Palm Protection, Large

I have been running the Risk Racing Palm Protectors and I love them. My hands are baby smooth because I don't work for a living and I can't take the torture of racing motocross. These are almost the same as the Risk ones but the holes for each finger is a little smaller and uncomfortable until you stretch them out. They were a few dollars cheaper than Risk so I tried them. I will probably buy the Risk ones next time. I highly recommend a palm protector if you think you need it.

I'm happy with this item. I use them when I do yard work like mowing or edging. They keep my palms from developing rough spots and calluses. Feels a little thin but have held up for three 1 hour sessions and are fine.

Used them for walk-behind mower this weekend - MUCH less soreness afterward than usual. I wish they were even thicker and went up the fingers more for gripping the speed-bar. Large - extra large fit well and stayed in place (Lady with medium to small hands).

I have a cyst on the palm of my hand. These are lightweight and easy to use holding a tennis racket.

For the price you cannot beat this product. There are imitators and none have been as inexpensive as these. I buy them for my daughter to avoid calluses from racing motocross. She really can't live without them. As soon as she's down to one pair, I'm ordering a bunch more from amazon. These work well for yard work, painting, anything that requires repetitive hand movements with a tight grip - get these! You won't regret it.

Description

Knowing the debilitating effects of blisters, it was the goal of the Striker engineers to develop a solution that offered full coverage protection to the areas of the hand that are affected by intense friction, rubbing, heat and moisture. In order to create the necessary armor, Striker has produced Tough Skin. Tough Skin is designed to protect the most vulnerable areas on your palm from blisters and vibration. They are a very thin, protective layer, offering full coverage protection of the palm, as well as the saddle area between the index finger and thumb. They slip easily over your hand and are lightweight and do not hold in heat and moisture like traditional gloves. If additional protection is needed, one can wear them under work gloves and still retain all the same benefits. They are great for yard work, mowing, shoveling and raking. They are also the perfect protection when rowing, waterskiing, jet skiing, biking and weight lifting.

Raced an Enduro where I normally get blisters. Wore these under my gloves and all I can say is I didn't get any blisters. As for the claim of no bruises not quite but great product. After 3 Races they seem to be a little worn out and have stretched out and did not work well for the last race. I will order another set and see if they last as long.

I use these for waterskiing under my normal gloves. They are really nice but unfortunately don't last all that long. On the plus side, $6-7 a month to save my hands multiple times a week is worth it to me. No more sanding calluses, blisters, or that painful pinch at the end of the day. Plus I can use my $60-$80 gloves twice as long since they don't have to be as tight to protect my hands.

Easy to use and great protection for the hands. Inexpensive but a bit flimsy

I bought these after a pair of work gloves I'm rather fond of failed to prevent a weekend of heavy hammering from giving me a few palm blisters. Putting them on feels a bit quirky, they look a bit odd once donned, and I'm not sure how long they'd last were I not wearing regular gloves over them, but at the end of the day, they deliver on their claim: a second weekend of heavy hammering failed to cause any more blisters. Nice work, Striker!

It works. This gloves just fit on my hands.
