For the price, this little device works quite well, and it is much more durable than some of its competitors. I have tested it on my dogs. I realize it can't help if they are far away, but I would be useful, I think if they somehow got out of the yard and you checked pretty quickly. I tested the devices from a job site to my home, and that was 8.2 miles away. It worked! What I wasn't quite happy with is having bought it Sep. 1st and the battery on one power cell by Sep. 15. It's not like I constantly have it on...

very useful product when you have a forgetful sister in law who somehow manages to lose everything. only complaint is i wish the sound was a bit louder and not so ambient i can barely hear it sometimes if its under pillows and such

This is a handy little device. I have them on my keys and it saves a lot of time to find them, in case I forget them in another room, just by using the app on my phone. Works the other way to find my phone as well by pressing the button on the Trackr device. My only complaint is sometimes the connection is inconsistent. The setup was also really simple, no issues there. Overall, pretty cool little device to make life a little easier!

So nice to have a means to keep track of my bike without having to pay an "arm & a leg" for it. I really like having the means to get a geographical indication of where the bike is by checking the app on my iPhone. Highly recommended as an owner who has seen two bikes go to people who thought they deserved the bike more than I did.

Works great and is simple. Not High Tech because you don't need that when trying to find your pet...very affordable.

One morning I was unable to locate my car keys. Being that I have keyless start and left the emergency brake on in my vehicle overnight, the total fess for a new set of keys including the remote, key, programming and towing the vehicle on a flatbed to the dealership (apparently they cannot mate the remote without the vehicle) would have been about $500. Luckily on this occasion a few hours and a torn apart house later I found them. After about 3 years of watching this item and reading reviews of all other items I decided to purchase. I finally realized that $30 for a key finder was a drop in the bucket compared to replacing a lost set. I am so glad I did. The app is very easy to use and it was simple to connect multiple items. I do wish there was some sort of warning when the battery is ready to die, because of course that's when I was unable to find my keys, again. I also think the ruggedness of the casing could be improved. I worried that the metal part that connects to the key ring will soon wear through or break, but I if that happens I will still buy another. I have a first generation and have had no problems with the sound level on the device and I have used the find my phone button and that works well too. I am very interested in the new home mapping devices releasing soon as my husband is even worse at missing keys (3 sets in 2 years). I have not used the Alexa integration feature yet, but I did go ahead and enable the skill. I am still learning how to use the skills and giving exact commands. BTW we love Alexa in our house. :) The battery was easy to replace and took a stand size coin battery. All in all I would definitely purchase again and I think these will also be my Christmas gifts for this year. I have attached a couple pictures of my device. I do carry my keys in my pocket with a lighter, but you can also see I only have the remote, trackr and one keychain item on the there.

After having used this for a few days I would break this into two clear uses. The first is short range tracking and finding of an object. The second is long range tracking of an object. Before I jump into this lets talk about the packaging and setup. The package is easy to open, the tracker already has the battery installed, and is ready to go with one push of the button on the tracking device. The App is easy to install and use. (one note: 35 emails got sent to my email reminding me to confirm my account within 10 minutes. I assume this is a fluke, as no one else i know has had this issue.) Once paired to your phone it connected quickly for me each time i came within range. Now lets talk about the usage.

On the short range tracking: This is a great way to never lose your keys again. The tracker sounds a chime when activated from your phone, as long as it is within range of your phone. Note this does have its limitations, especially with walls. But works great if you are in the same room. You can also hide this in a co-workers desk and remotely activate the chime and have a little fun making them think they are going insane.

The long range tracking is another issue. The crowd GPS technology that this tracker uses is a a great theory, but less than wonderful in practice. I live in a small city with about 150,000 people. I hid my tracker in a flower pot at the mall, and not a single time within a 24 hour period did it show up. This portion of the device might be better in a large city, however there are just not enough users near me to use this as a lost/stolen item tracker. Also, due to the limitations of the technology this wouldn't work well if your stolen item was taken indoors.

Works as promised and is really easy to set up! The app is pretty intuitive as well.

The only negative I see is not enough users online so tougher to estimate location relying solely on CrowdGPS.

I have purchased several for myself and family. Only issue I have is last order of 3 had 2 with dead batteries.

Easy to set-up and find lost items.
