Ice when I needed it. If you looking for a ice maker that pops out 8lbs an hour this is not it.. if your looking for an ice maker to plug in far a way from your fridge to keep you and few buddies glass full of ice all day it works great. Need to plug in 30 minutes before the party starts. Will keep 4 glasses full of refilled ice all day. Any more people than that you are going to run short. Works great for my needs.

Wife did not think it was necessary, but really liked it with the first batch of ice. She said it would be good in the RV which was the primary reason I bought it. I used distilled water as some of the reviews suggested.
It's a little loud sometimes but it's been a lifesaver!

Absolutely love this ice maker. We use it daily. I don't know how we lived without it.
