Purchased this for my daughter and son-in-law. I managed to unbox it and hook it up by myself! And I'm OLD! Excellent product. Only giving 4 stars because I expected it to have an interior light. It never occurred to me that a frost free, energy efficient freezer this size would come without a light.
AWESOME! I Read Every review... Good and Bad. Decided to buy. This freezer is of a quality that I have not seen in my 65 years. Excellent quality. Delivered by UPS, (amazing for its large size and weight), the freezer arrived in perfect shape. Excellent packaging. EASY to set up. I immediately placed 3 thermometers inside and plugged it in. 2 hours later, the temp was -12 degrees. Set thermostat to warmest setting and my thermometers registered lower than 10 degrees after 6 hours. So, this thermostat is not good for refrigeration temperatures, Not to worry, there are many easy ways around this if you might someday need a refrigerator instead of a freezer.
We decided to buy this one because it was on the bigger side of the front door style, small freezers (as opposed to a chest freezer). The freezer looks solidly and cleanly made. Shelves have cooling coils integrated which prevents you from adjusting shelves, but most items should fit fine (approximately 7.5" inches of height in top and middle shelves, 10" in bottom section). Top of freezer is textured and looks to be a good place to store kitchen items on top.
Wow. Works.like a dream, just the perfect size for a single person. The delivery was swift and left right at the front door. I was able to move it inside by myself (for which I was truly grateful). It holds more than I thought it would, and still room for more. I will treasure this appliance for a very Long time.
This mighty and surprisingly roomy freezer has been a game changer for us. We've had pretty limited freezer space due to constraints in our kitchen. If we could have a bigger refrigerator/freezer combo we would. Alas, we can't. We had thought about buying an additional freezer for our basement, and always thought in terms of a larger one, and really didn't want to go that route. So I was pleasantly surprised to see several options on Amazon. After reading all the reviews, I settled on this one, and we couldn't be happier.
We've had this freezer for more than six months now, ahead of the demanding holidays when we always need additional freezer space. What a game changer! We were surprised by how much this freezer holds, how easy it was to install - just plug it into a "regular" socket in our somewhat "older" basement, and it was ready to go. Now we don't know how we ever lived without it and wonder what took us so long.
This unit is also quiet, which - even though it's tucked away - is not a bad thing when we do go downstairs for laundry and other errands. We're hoping it continues to be as reliable and effective as it is right now, and are so pleased by the great price and the huge difference it's made for us.
I would recommend this to anyone.

Perfect for my 1 bedroom apartment, Its in my living room, looks very nice, makes no noise and freezes real cold yet has a real great adjustable temperature gauge if you don't like real super frozen, the basket inside is nice and slides from one side to the other very effortlessly.
Its very cool in every way.
Update (7-10-2018) Still love my freezer and it still loves me.
I suspect all the people that have had issues plugged this thing in right away without letting it stand upright for the full 6 hours.
Also you have to be sure to keep things away from the sensor at the very top back right or the sensor frosts and the rest of the unit gets warm.
The Amazon scheduled delivery service was great! The delivery guys phoned me about 20 minutes before their arrival, which occurred right in the middle of the delivery window. They were very professional, brought the freezer into my garage, opened the package and helped me inspect the unit. There was a small cosmetic dent on the lower edge of the door (which was a factory defect, not due to shipping; the packaging was pristine), and one of the metal strips over the coils on the back was bent, but I just bent it back right then and there.
After the delivery guys left, I laid the freezer on its back to swap the door hinges because my application requires a left-handed door. In fact, one of the reasons I chose this specific freezer was because it has a reversible door. Note the hinge hardware is on the bottom of this freezer, not on the top like a typical upright. **Before you begin to remove the door hardware, check to make sure none of the bolt heads got stripped out at the factory during assembly.** In my case, two of them were stripped, and it took a vice grip, WD40 and a whole lotta cussing for me to loosen those two bolts. They apparently are not a standard size, because I could not find a ratchet doodad that fit them. OK, anyway, aside from that little issue, reversing the door was simple. I’m a middle-aged woman with few mechanical skills, but it still only took me an hour.
After reversing the door, I stood the unit upright for 24 hours before plugging it in. It got cold quickly, and I transferred food into it the next day.
This freezer is the perfect size for my single-person household. The shelves are widely spaced, so you can easily get a turkey or boxed pizzas in there. I love the fact it has door storage. I’m going to get some plastic shelving to double-stack items like frozen vegetables so none of the headspace goes to waste. I like the freezer’s small footprint, which fits better in my garage. Note that setting this freezer up in your garage voids the warranty. I was aware of that and am doing it anyway. Hoping for a long, happy relationship with this freezer, and will update this review as warranted. I’m giving 4 stars only because of the dents and the stripped out bolts.
So I had a bit of a struggle with this freezer. The first one that arrived has several small dents on it, and then there was a hole inside of it on one of the bottom corners. I had to repackage and return it for another one. The second freezer had one big dent on one of the outside corner edges, but it had no other issues and I didn't want to return another, so I let Amazon know and they gave me a decent partial refund. The freezer just needs to be packed better when shipped out. Both came in only cardboard, plastic wrap and foam pieces for only 2 sides of the freezer. It needs to be encased in foam and/or bubble wrap (or something).
As for the freezer's actual performance, the freezer has been plugged in for a few weeks now, and it works quite well. It's big enough for me to do the occasional binge shopping of freezer foods (veggies, fruits, sorbets) and have it all fit, unlike my other freezer spaces that I have. Things stay cold and freeze quickly, just the way they should.
Very pleased with my new freezer! The delivery process went very well. It was threshold delivery, inside your door but the guy was kind enough to take it on into the kitchen for me. Not a scratch or dent was found. Very easy to get out of the packaging, very easy to level and set up. Perfect process all the way! It's now almost full of yummies! The freezer over the refrigerator just wasn't cutting it! I can now cook all sorts of goodies and not have to worry about throwing excess away. Loving my new freezer!
