First time review on Amazon and I can think of nothing better to write about than this Oco camera. We had been searching for a wi-fi based camera with a smartphone app for about a year. Tried a couple of different ones and even though the cameras were fine, the apps for them were terrible. Slow to start, stopping unexpectedly, poor picture quality etc.

There I was searching again on Amazon and happened to look further down the page of a competitor product and I found the Oco 1. Curious about it, I read the reviews and they were good. Went online for the app that goes with it and that reviewed well too with a 4.5 average (just like it has now).

With this info in hand, I decided to buy it. Almost 2 years later, it is still working 100% perfectly. Never ever let us down even when traveling abroad and you want to just take a look at home from the app.
The width of view is excellent. 120 degree
Picks up any kind of movement
Streaming quality is great
Has a mic where you can hear when people are around and what they are saying most of the time. The other great thing about the mic is that you can talk through your phone using the mic and it comes out of the camera! Perfect for when you're abroad and you want a conversation with one of your employees looking at the camera.
Works perfectly with my Wi-Fi and this camera is about 25' from the router with the signal also having to go through 2 walls.
Vision in low light and at night is excellent.
The app works perfectly both on Android and ios as I started out with an android phone but now have an Iphone.
Also, the desktop app on your PC and laptop works fantastic as well. Excellent picture quality and sound at all times
Connecting the cameras to your network is easy. Just follow the setup that is well detailed on the app.
The price it is on Amazon is great. I paid almost twice as much when it first came out but it was totally worth it.
The camera is fully adjustable on it's base.
The power cord is a good length

So to summarize.
Just get this camera. You will not be disappointed. we absolutely love it 100%
Attached is a still shot taken early evening with the camera that's in our living room.

I started looking into surveillance cameras after getting a pup - I wanted to see what he was doing whenever I was at work. I now have 3 puppies and this camera has been my eyes on them. I've had this camera for about 7-8 months. Quality is good for what you pay and with Night Vision (see attached photos for night vision, natural lighting, and bulb lighting), VERY easy set-up (if you lose the wifi, it reconnects itself once the wifi becomes available again), and it's nice that you're able to talk on it.

It's great that it pairs with Ivideon and I'm able to watch live at no extra charge. I have an office job with my own computer and I'm able to watch them all day if I chose to. The Ivideon app also lets me do this from my phone so I am able to literally watch my puppies from anywhere whenever I want. I used to have the motion notification on but I would get them constantly, all day, because my puppies of course didn't stay in place. I easily took that notification off. I also like that it saves 10-second clips under Events whenever movement is sensed.

What I did notice though is that sometimes the camera saves 10-second clips every 20 minutes, but other times I won't see anything for a 2+ hour span (like shown on the last photo between 11:47am and 1:40pm that there was supposedly no activity) - so it doesn't catch certain events you may want to see that happened between those 2+ hours (unless you subscribe on Ivideon to save the whole recording, which I never found necessary for my use). For example, one time I checked the live stream and found one of the puppies on the other side of the gated area, with the gate still locked. Of course I wanted to find out how he did it. Did he jump over? Did someone open the gate and let him out and never put him back in? I tied to figure out what happened by going to the Events tab but found that the last 10-second clip recorded was from hours beforehand, when my puppy was still inside the gated area. But really for me this is not a huge issue - I think that if this is a big concern for some people then those people should subscribe and pay for the whole recording to be saved.

I have purchased Oco HD Wi-Fi Home monitoring camera before NY to see what is happening in our backyard during our absence. I have been using Oco for 2 month now and I think I made a pretty good decision to digitize my house with another brand.
Pros:
1. The set up process was very easy.
2. I loved the price, and plan to add more 2-3 cameras.
3. I am an iPhone junkie and IoT person, and now besides my Alexa voice controlled lightning system I have on my iPhone excellent quality video streaming of my house when I am not there. Now I moved camera inside the house and can talk to my dog and see his face: wondering, who is that? My wife freaks out as well, but now got used to it.
4. Great night vision quality (to my surprise!)
5. Sleek design, matching my all high end equipment in the house.
Cons:
1. Set up instructions are printed in very small fonts with grey ink. I had to use a magnifying glass. But ultimately almost all set up process was very intuitive.
2. When connection is weak, up in the mountains, download is pretty slow. But I guess it is normal.

My door has no peep hole so I wasn't able to see anyone at the door without drawing the blinds or opening the door. There had been some break-ins in the area so I decided to look for a camera that could easily mount, detect movement, and also record. The Oco wifi Home Monitoring camera has everything I was looking for. Faces are clear and I am alerted with the Ivideon app if someone is at the door. You can also adjust the sensitivity of movement. One problem I do have is that shadows from the movement of the sun are detected on the camera and there isn't a way of avoiding that. Also, the speaker for the microphone is a bit muffled. I do not use that feature but I can see someone on the other end having trouble hearing you. Otherwise, the camera is HD clear and awesome!

This is a great little camera! We have a new puppy and I wanted to be able to keep an eye on him and our other pup while I was at work. This is the perfect tool for that! I did quite a bit of research prior to buying this camera and the price, quality could not be beaten. This camera is priced well, allows you to talk through the camera, access it remotely, set up wirelessly and has a great picture! I attached two pics, one is zoomed in quite a bit and the other is static from the camera. I had a little trouble getting it to sync up with my wireless initially but eventually got it set up. If it doesn't respond while setting it up, try closing out the app, resetting the camera and starting over. That is the only way it worked for me. It has only been knocked offline once since March and we had severe storms that evening. I highly recommend this camera and in fact, two friends have already bought one as a result of my recs to them.

Very good quality hardware, packaging and software. I found it very easy to set up using the quick guide, no issues. Video quality is very good on all settings even low quality. Live feed is not choppy. Sound is good as well, while it's not an audio system hence a bit tinny, two way conversations are easy to conduct and even background sounds like TV is easily understood. Ivideon app for android works well as does PC version. Turning camera on and off remotely when away works great no issues. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for a few issues with event notifications. 1.) Event alerts are not consistently pushed to the app. However they are there when you check for them. 2.) That being said not all events seem to be equal, in some cases obvious flagrant motion doesn't get captured and more subtle ones in the background get captured well. i haven't signed up for the cloud archive yet, plan to do that when we are on vacation, then at least I can search for activity and maybe that will help clean up push notification issues. Overall for the price I'd say its a great buy. I plan to buy an outdoor model to monitor doors and driveway.

I will start off by saying that this camera is great! However, it picks up on very little motion and will snap shots every time (I suppose this is a good thing) but, the corner of a ceiling fan was in the image and it would constantly send me notifications. Easy fix- we just moved it a bit.

The sound coming through the camera is very good. The sound going out is also exceptional.

RECONNECTING:
This took me forever and customer service is absolutely terrible!! Was on the phone for well over 40 minutes with no interaction with a human!

You have to delete the camera off the app.

I also finally figured out that your device you are pairing it with needs to be on 2.4 network. My phone I usually have on 5. So I had to change that. There is also I hidden reset button on the back of the camera, I reset mine.

It finally reconnected and we are good to go!

All around, it is a good camera. Some minor bugs, but you get what you pay for. At least their privacy policy doesn't make you sign away your life like many of these other cameras.

Three of these cameras were purchased to help my elderly relative stay in his home. I reviewed tons of cameras and these had the features that I was looking for at a reasonable price. The picture is great both day and night and I can zoom in if I need more detail. Some of the reviews commented on the limited night vision but I see everything quite well. I get notifications when there is movement but I can turn down the sensitivity or silence my phone when I don't need the notifications. It has the capability to share the camera with two more friends without charge. The camera only notifies the main user of movement but we solved this issue by setting up one camera acoount in my name and another in my sisters name so we both receive movement rings, just on different cameras. I set the cameras on tables and they give a great range of view. They were advertised as easy to set up which is true. I've used them for 2 weeks and am extremely satisfied with their performance.

I purchased this camera almost 2 years ago to monitor my island vacation home between visits. There were mysterious incidents occurring during my absences that management could not explain. They were the only other people that had access. Needless to say, once I installed the Oco camera and downloaded the app, I have peace of mind and no more mysterious incidents. I am alerted on all sound and motion, to my chosen sensitivity level, through the app on my Samsung cellphone and email notification as well. I can see through my living room out to my pool deck. I am even notified when my pool is being cleaned from the detection of movement outside. Very cool camera and app. I highly recommend it

We bought two of these cameras to keep an eye on my grandma who lives on her own but isn't as independent as she used to be. I had the job of finding something suitable. We were looking at baby monitors but I found Oco on a google search. I did my research and read reviews and video testimonials. So we decided to go with the Oco camera and what a great choice.
We only live a few houses away from grandma so we thought this would be a good 'tool' to keep an eye on her. She has fallen in the past and we have found her on the floor more than once. These cameras have become a comfort to our family so we can 'keep an eye' on grandma when we need to be elsewhere.
Setup was easy. Plugged them in and it was an easy 1,2,3 setup. Image is pretty good and the sound is amazing. I loved the cameras so much that I bought another one for my house to keep an eye on my dogs.
