One morning before moving by driving across the country i stopped at my friends house to rest before hitting the road. I laid down on their couch and put this pillow behind my head and BAM!!!! I was literally blown away. What was this incredible pillow??? It is BY FAR the most comfortable things i've ever put my head on. All my friends were at work so i was texting and calling all of them trying to figure out who's it was. No one knew. No one claimed it. I looked at the tag and was very surprised. Immediately it made me want to sell my purple bed and buy a ghostbed... but i still haven't done that. But what i have done is bought two of my own ghost pillows and put silk pillow cases on them and i'm so happy with them. If you've never spent money on a GOOD pillow. Or ever really tried one. BUY THIS!!!! I hope it blows your mnid like it did mine. PERFECT SUPPORT. Not to sound weird or anything but it's so comfortable and supportive it's nearly pleasurable. This pillow provides pleasure. Somehow. Deep, cerebral, rejuvenating pleasure. Thank you ghost pillow. I love you forever. <3
So I own the ghost bed and love it so I've been really curious about the pillows but seeing the ratings and reviews kind of scared me so I just ordered one to start with. I have to say I don't understand how this has so many bad reviews I'm a side and stomach sleeper and most memory foam pilllows I've tried are too firm or too thick and hurt my neck but this one is perfect! normally I wake up with stiff neck and shoulders from having to stick my arm under my pillows to get extra support but not with this one I woke up feeling great. There is a bit of a lavender smell when you first get it but it's not super overwhelming I like lavender so it was a bit of a plus to me. Overall I think I'm definitely going to order more in the future!
Ok... I'm thrilled with this pillow I've owned a Nature's Sleep Pillow for about 10 years I keep it clean and try to maintain it because I can't find anything the even closely resembled the quality of that pillow. Over the years and probably purchased a dozen pillows on a whim I purchased the ghost pillow it turns out it's built by Nature's Sleep and it's every bit as good as the one I had before. I'm a side sleeper I sleep with my arm under my head wearing earbuds which is torture for any pillow and generally torture on the shoulder but this one is a keeper I don't feel my arm digging into my head and I don't have shoulder pain the next day. I will retire my tried-and-true and go with the new in fact I ordered a second one just now I'm going to keep it in the Box so I don't have to play this game looking for a replacement in 5 or 10 years lol if you need a great feeling pillow that sleeps cool and gives good support and you can't find the right pillow give this one a shot
There is no one pillow that will work for everyone. It's important to get that out of the way first before I begin praising the GhostPillow. Unfortunately, you have to try it out for a few nights to know whether it works or not. In my situation, I had already purchased the GhostBed a few months ago and my back was feeling better than it had in years! My neck, however, would still ache occasionally and I decided to upgrade my pillow to something worthy of our new bed.
I had always used the classic poly-filled pillows you see at the big-box stores on sale for $10. It's just a pillow, right? They would feel great for a week or so and then never retain their original loft. Down-filled never worked for me as my head needs more support. My wife bought a replacement memory foam pillow about a year ago and loved it(as I said before, pillows are a very personal thing so we each buy our own)! I never thought I would like it, but after 'stealing' it a couple times I was convinced.
Long story short, I couldn't find the exact pillow she has and after looking up GhostBed online I found they make a VERY nice pillow(some say the pillows are even better than the bed!). Yes, it's expensive for a pillow. We have the bed already and I was impressed so after reading the reviews on the pillow itself I made the plunge! It did take a few nights for me to adjust, but now being a couple months in I'm very happy.
Pros: Packaging. Think of it as what Apple would do if they made a pillow!
Support. FIRM, but forgiving(if that makes sense?). Initially, you think your head is going to be too
high, but the memory foam contours just right without feeling like you've sunk in.
Cool. I've never been too hot with it and there's even a nice 'whoosh' of air as you lay down due to
the design.
Material. Same as the bed which is a soft, quilted feel. Also comes treated with a lavender that
goes away eventually, but is never overpowering.
Cons: Cost. At $85 nobody is going to say it's a bargain, but it's hard to put a price on comfort. However,
GhostBed does promotions for free pillows with purchase, but you're probably not buying the bed
just to get the pillows- the bed is pretty awesome though(see my other reviews here)! Also, there's
usually used ones on this website from folks who probably got the pillows for free and didn't need
all of them or tried it out and it just wouldn't work for them.
Personal Preference. Like I said in the beginning pillows aren't 'one-size-fits-all'. My wife
who has tried mine still prefers her off-brand memory foam pillow to mine even though it wasn't
even half the cost. Just because it's pricey doesn't mean it will work- I just got lucky!
Five stars for the best sleep I've ever had. Worth every penny!

I wouldn't put too much weight into this pillow keeping you cool as the description boasts. Yes....push into it hard or fast enough and the perforated holes within will allow air to escape giving off the sensation of it becoming cool....but that last for about one second. I typically "run hot" while sleeping....but I can't say that this pillow has kept me cool. I haven't noticed a considerable change since owning it. IMO the pillow is a little thicker than what I prefer. Others have noted the strong odor or smell. While it did have a smell of lavender to it....it wasn't too strong and only lasted for a week at best. It arrived in a nicely packaged box....but it's a box....no big deal, not sure why other reviews rave so much about the packaging. So....it's a pillow....does it's job....it's a quality product for sure....but as mentioned before....don't put too much weight into the "keep you cool" claims.

I'm a side-sleeper with neck problems. A bad pillow can give me persistent headaches. In the past, I've found pillow with air bladders or water bladders that have worked fine - until I've had to replace them. The same model just didn't work as well, perhaps because of changes in their memory foam. None were as good as this pillow. This pillow is firm enough to keep my neck supported. It is the only one I've tried that also feels this luxurious. Maybe I'll stock up for when this one wears out.
I know it's pricey but I love this pillow!!!! My wife didn't want to buy this because who buys a pillow for $80, but when she tried mine on she's slept much better so I got her own GhostBed Pillow.. Thank you!
Enough with the "wonderful box" comments and unfounded insults. Seems like companies using subterfuge regularly to undermine one another's products... leaving negative reviews with "verified purchases", leaving positive reviews for themselves using falsified member names, etc... who can you trust? The pillow wars going on among GhostBed, MyPillow and the other knock-offs have become ridiculous.
Here's my opinion for what it's worth (6' 180lbs male): If you're looking for a comfortable pillow that gives you sturdy, but plush, support - this one is perfect. It quickly became my favorite after receiving it. Is it like sleeping on a cool, ventilated air conditioner? No. Does it blow cold air at you? No. Does it allow for air flow? Yes. It feels good. Not too hot, but certainly not cold. Is there a scent? Possibly. It isn't very noticeable and with a clean pillow case on it, you probably won't even be able to discern its presence. I'm a shoulder-sleeper typically, but also sleep on my back. It works perfectly in both scenarios. If you're spending less money and getting a lesser pillow, you really have nothing to complain about. Spend a little more and give this a shot.

Be aware that on the first night, you won't sleep on this pillow. It smells terrible.
BUT...
After a couple of days the smell goes away and it is the perfect pillow.
I have severe insomnia so I’m always looking for anything to help me fall asleep. Pillows are a person specific thing. For me I my only improvement on it would be for it to be a bit firmer. It does have a lavender scent to it but I don’t really notice it anymore. Otherwise a nice pillow but not sure it’s worth $85.
