This is a great accessory if you use your phone for music in the car. The button on the cord allows you to pause, or change to the next track, without ever looking at your phone. Note that the end that has 4 rings around the shaft of the plug (that's the right angle end on this unit) must be inserted into the phone for this feature to work. The other end, with 3 rings around the shaft of the plug, must plug into the AUX jack. Also, it's light weight and very flexible, which is nice if you have your phone in one of those windshield sticky cradles. Good value too.
Nice replacement cable for headphones. The slider is a little stiff and cuts out if you're not careful adjusting it, but it sure is nice to be able to adjust the volume.
There's also a pause button. If I'm crossing or walking down a busy and noisy street, I simply hit the pause button--no way I'm going to be able to hear what I'm trying to listen to anyway.
The flat cable gives me some confidence that it'll last a while--it seems sturdy. So far so good, several months now.
Wonderful for use with the SkullCandy SkullCrusher headphones as a replacement cord. The volume control and button that skips, pauses, and answers and ends calls on the cord make this a must have for me. Also the fact that the cord is flat practically elimates the whole tangling in the pocket conundrum. My only complaint would be that when i try to use this setup as a mic for my playstation 4 that people complain that its not loud enough but thats not the intended use of this so i cant knock a star for that. Im on my 4th one, not because they break though, only because i lose them so often lol

Great because you wont get tangles thanks to the flat design. Mic is good, and volume rocker is good. However, feels delicate and my old one which came with my Atlas headset stopped working after a few weeks. I was a bit rough with the chord I had before. Under normal usage, this is a great AUX cable.
Works great, I plugged into my marshalls and now I can control the volume without reaching into my pocket, woot :D
actually better than i expected when i opened them... the cable/wire is very thin and flimsy and i really wish the volume was controlled with a wheel but changes songs off mic just fine and does produce a decent volume...
