Cons:
-Unless you can drain the water right outside or in the shower, you will have to put the washer on top of a sturdy platform in order to drain it out into a bucket or a sink. I just put mine on top of my kitchen counter and drain the water into a large bucket.
-The spin cycle can only handle a few items at a time so you will have to spin your clothes in small loads.
-The washer is very good at agitating the clothes, but it's also great at creating so much suds! I usually have to give my clothes an extra rinse or two to get all the detergent out.
-Washing clothes is very time consuming. While it does all the hard work for you, you will have to empty and re-fill the water tub every time you wash/rinse your clothes.
-For me, the hose attachment to put water in the washer doesn't work well. I find putting in the water with a bucket more efficient.
Pros:
-The washer does what it's supposed to do - wash. It gets out a ton of dirt and even got out some heavy stains in my white shirts.
-The spin cycle is the entire reason I bought this product. It does an amazing job at getting out all the excess water from clothes. Some items such as small hand towels even come out dry!
-This washer is light weight and compact. It can easily fit into a closet, pantry, or a large cabinet.
-Pretty self-explanatory to set up and use.
I bought this washer for the convenience factor of washing my clothes without having to go to the laundry mat. I was able to carry it up to my 3rd floor apartment with ease. Since I usually do an extra rinse with my laundry, doing a full wash takes an hour and a half. However, I'm willing to deal with how time consuming washing is because I'm not wasting time sitting at a laundry mat. With how much water the spin cycle takes out, you can easily dry your clothes overnight on a drying rack. If you are doing multiple loads, you may want to invest in a clothes line or several drying racks. If you're like me and live half of the year in winter weather, try to set up your drying racks near your heater. I am able to do one load in the morning and have it done by the evening, so I can do another load at night!
Recommended for: Those who want to save money. Those who don't mind a time consuming chore. Washing light-weight clothes, linens, small blankets, towels, anything that could dry overnight.
Not recommended for: Heavier items such as quilts, rugs, jeans (you can attempt, but in my experience they do not air-dry well). Those who want their clothes washed quickly. Those who have large loads of laundry to wash daily.
Love this. I live in an apartment and the cost of using the laundry facility is crazy. I have lupus and my joints hurt so carrying my clothes to the laundry room and back was painful. I am able to do small loads of laundry right in my shower. Spin takes so much water out it only takes about an hour on a hanger for my shirts to dry,two hours for jeans. I never leave reviews but this deserved it.
I bought this machine for my daughter's apartment. She just had a baby and she lives on the second floor of an apartment community that has a shared laundry facility that is 2 buildings over from my daughters apartment. I figured she could wash the baby's clothes in this since babies go through clothes pretty quickly, and this would be much more convenient for her to use with the new baby. The machine works really well and gets the clothes really clean. The washing side of the machine has enough space to handle a nice sized load of baby clothes, personal clothes, such as underwear and t-shirts, socks, etc. The spin side is awesome, it really does spin the clothes to get a good majority of the water out, some items are almost dry. Of course, you still have to put the clothes in a dryer to get them totally dry, but you could also hang dry some clothes. This machine is great for small apartments, it just needs to be close to a water supply to attach the water intake hose, and I would recommend setting the machine up on a sturdy structure to allow the drain hose to reach a bucket or tub to allow the water to drain out properly. All in all, a great product at an affordable price.
I bought this for our camper so when we went away for a week or longer we didnt have to find a laundryment. It's perfect for them small places . Works great . I love it .

I love it. It's compact but can fit alot. The water hose it came with doesn't attached to my sink so I just put it in my tub and fill it with the detachable shower head and then it drains out right in the tub so it all works out. The spin cycle is great and could shack alot if it's off balance so I just try to center the clothes into the basket more or leave clothes in the washer side to balance it , or I just lean on the whole machine until it's balanced and the shacking stops. But over all the spin cycle is wonderful, just small. Overall I love it and it's great for small apartments.
I had a combo washer/spin dryer unit for my small apartment that died on me a few weeks ago & decided to get this to replace it. I did not realize it was somewhat smaller in load size than my prior unit.
No major issues so far with this unit, but surprised me it's notably smaller than my prior unit, but no major issue with me.

I was really on the fence about these apartment sized semi-automatic washers, but $100 decided to give it a shot as trips to the laundromat are a hassle and take hours out of my time, and hand washing is insufficient and difficult with some items. When the Zeny arrived last night, the box was smaller than I expected it to be and I thought I should have gone for a larger capacity model. I unpacked it and hoped for the best.
This little thing is amazing! It's surprising light for it's size and easy to move from the closet to the bathroom and back for storage. It's simple to use and it really cleans! I set it in my tub so I can drain it right there, and put my removable shower hose inside to fill it, so the inadequate hose that comes with the unit is not an issue for me. The agitation sounds strong, and the water is dirty when done! I washed the equivalent of a load and a half last night (5 pair of women’s jeans, set of queen sheets, socks, panties) split among several loads in the Zeny, while also able to get some work done at home, and I didn't have to schlep to the laundromat in the rain (or fight traffic or look for quarters)!
This morning I decided to push it a bit and assess the max capacity. I just washed a regular bath towel, a hand towel, 6 washcloths, 2 pair of fuzzy socks, and a man’s button-down shirt in one load – no problem! I got all but the bath towel and shirt into the spinner in one go. I am absolutely blown away by this thing!
In the next load, I washed a regular bath towel, 6 pair of socks, 2 pair of polar fleece leggings, a pair of shorts, and 2 ladies knit shirts. I’m so glad I purchased this thing! Hand washing all of that would have been so much more labour intensive, and I cannot hand wring nearly as much water out of my clothes as the spinner can extract, which cuts air-drying time significantly.
I took the advice of another customer and filled with water and detergent and let my delicates soak for 10 minutes before running through a short cycle on the Soft setting and that worked well. As others have mentioned, the agitation really spins your clothes around and they do become tangled, so use lingerie bags for anything you don’t want stretched out (panties, tights, spaghetti straps on tank tops, cotton tops, cotton leggings, etc…).
When reading the reviews before buying, there seemed to be some confusion as to whether you can run the spinner at the same time as a washer- yes you can. I’ve been running both sides concurrently for most of my loads.
A note on the spinner: One regular sized bath towel maxes out the capacity of the spinner, so I don’t know if a bath sheet would fit (for those who have those larger sized towels).
And to the reviewer who said don’t buy, it’s labour, and the rating here are lies: Dude, what did you expect? Did you read the other reviews? Did you understand how this machine functions before you purchased it? And no, the rating are not lies. I’m a legit Amazon customer and this is a verified purchase. I rarely leave reviews, but I was so shocked by how well this thing works I had to share. I can see my weekly time consuming trips to the laundromat cut down to once a month for blankets and bath mats. It's only been a day, but so far this machine is awesome and I don't regret the purchase.

Worth the money, I have been enjoying using this. The only issue I have had with this is the water line that feeds into the machine could be longer and better designed. The issue was resolved when I got a hose extender at my local hardware store. Washes well, just don’t place in too much laundry detergent. The drain works good and the spin dryer works like a charm. I just place my items on a rack and a fan takes care of the rest in the matter of minutes. It shall pay for itself rather fast.
