Vitruvi Organic Peppermint Essential Oil, 100% Pure Undiluted Premium Grade Essential Oil, Certified Organic (.34 oz)

My wife is very sensitive to aromas. If we put low-quality oils in our diffuser, it will give her a major headache.

I got some Vitrivi cedar oil on a whim when I decided to make my own beard oil. She loved it so much that we kept getting more. And more. And more. We now have about 7 different varieties, and they are all fantastic. The peppermint is her favorite by far.

I will note that we’ve had two instances where these were shipped without the proper cushioning, resulting in bottles that have sprung a leak during transit.

This is true, organic grade peppermint oil. Is strong and works brilliantly in a diffuser or on skin when mixed with either lotion or another beauty oil. Because it's pure peppermint, you can't put it on skin without mixing it with another product as abase for the scent. Was really impressed by this oil.

Worked great in the Vitruvi diffuser with only a couple drops. Love the smell.

Small bottle but pacts a great aroma

Smells good and very refreshing

Perfect peppermint essential oil! Would purchase again

You might not think there is much difference in essential oils, especially something as commonplace as peppermint, but there is. Lower quality oils don’t smell as good and the scent doesn’t linger as long.

You don’t need any special diffuser to use this immediately. Just put it on a tissue in a small bowl...so it doesn’t mar your furniture...and let its scent perk you up.

Peppermint is a wonderful energy enhancer while also calming your nervous system. Peppermint tea, actual mints, or this essential oil will do the trick, though this oil smells so divine you might prefer it to the other options. Also, it’s a cinch to use.

Whatever people say about certain oils being good for certain things, it’s really best to experiment because each person’s body chemistry, memories, and associations with certain smells dictate whether a particular one will be beneficial, or not.

Your hippocampus, where your memories are stored, is right next to your amygdala...part of the lambic system in the middle of your brain. Therefore, scents can evoke powerful emotions. So, you can’t simply rely on someone else’s experience or a book to tell you what will calm you, even though certain oils, like lavender, have a great track record for inducing relaxation or ameliorating your perception of pain.

Experimenting with oils can be a lot of fun. One way to do that without investing tons of money is to go to your natural foods store and smell their aromatherapy sample bottles. Just close your eyes, inhale gently, and pay attention to what you feel.

Balsam Fir Needle is one many people find incredibly soothing. When the forest therapy researchers in Japan can’t get out of their office to enjoy nature they use this essential oil.

A couple of years ago, I started playing a bit with essential oils as I was trying to find something besides huge amounts of Mountain Dew that would help my migraines.

Peppermint oil has worked wonders for me, but not just any peppermint oil. I have no idea what makes a "good" oil vs a not-so-good one aside from how it makes me feel. There are only a couple of brands that really do have an impact on my migraines.

I have not had a full-on migraine since I got this oil, but I've had a couple of headaches. I put a half tablespoon or so of whatever "carrier" oil I have around into one palm... olive oil is the one that is always handy, but I've also used coconut oil (both the solid at room temperature kind, and the liquid kind), almond oil, and emu oil. Then I add a drop or two of the peppermint essential oil. I usually dab a bit of that onto my temples, and I massage that mixture onto the back of my neck and up the base of my skull.

Then I cup my hands together, and cover my face and just inhale the peppermint scent for a few minutes. When I am done, I scrub my hands good. you do not want to end up rubbing your eyes or anything else. I lay down if at all possible.

With good peppermint essential oil, if I do the above early enough, I don't end up with a migraine most of the time. With not as good essential oil, I can still frequently avoid a full migraine, but it's iffier and I am usually just achy for awhile.

This Vitruvi peppermint oil was effective and I felt so much better. None of my headaches have turned into migraines.

And it does just smell nice.

I live in a small townhouse and whenever I cook - the odors carry throughout the house. I like turning on my diffuser with a strong essential oil to combat any cooking odors or just to help set the mood - whether to enliven or calm/soothe. This peppermint essential oil is so refreshing and rather perky. I made some Thai food one night and although it was delicious, I did not want to smell it the morning after. I just put 7-10 drops of this oil in my diffuser after dinner and the next morning, my downstairs smelled lovely. It just banished the fish-and-golden-seasoning-sauce smell.

I also like the elegant black packaging - keeps the oils from evaporating. I do keep my diffuser and some essential oil bottles in a stand near my glass sliding door and I do not want to lose any it!

I love the fact that this is a high quality, organic essential oil. Peppermint oil has a lot of uses - for example, I've added a few drops to my diffuser and the scent is comforting and soothing when I'm stressed; I also use it as an ingredient for my homemade soap (I mix it up with coconut oil and Dr. Bronner's soap) and I also take it with me when I travel by car, as it calms my stomach (I get carsick a lot).

The bottle is dark, which is great for protecting the freshness of the scent (heat can damage its qualities). Overall this is a good price for a high quality product.
