Panda 3.75 cu.ft Compact Laundry Dryer, Control Panel Downside, PAN760SF White and Black

This is an awesome little dryer! Fits well on a corner of my counter-top. It is actually meant more for a counter or a shelf, hence the light weight & location of the control knob.

Mind you, many of the reviewers complained about the overheat issue in which it shuts down for a short while in order to cool down. However, through my own experimentation I learned a neat trick. To beat the over-heat problem, alternate between hot & cold for every load. I have an Amazon Alexa unit that I use as a timer for all of my timer needs so it can be used for multiple timers all at once & you can even verbally assign labels to each timer so you know when the first half of the drying cycle (Hot) is done before switching to cool which will still dry the items but only with the residual heat & when you use this trick, you can keep the dryer going almost indefinitely If you ever need to keep drying A LOT of clothing!

Ignore the idiotic sticker that says to clean filter once a week! - I am always finding a full lint trap after every other load. So always check after every two loads. As far as the difficulty in removal of the filter at the rear, I honestly do not see what all the fuss is about. Just let it cool for a few minutes... Usually when removing the clothing a few items at a time to fold them right there, is all the time it needs to cool enough to then remove the filter to then clean & put it back before the next load.

The makers of this unit really should rewrite the sticker for USA residents because I don't know what amount of lint is shed over in china per load of laundry when it is drying in this unit but over here, as far as I have seen from most dryers, emptying the filter to prevent a fire, means checking it after every load if not every other load!

IMPORTANT NOTE!! Moderate size loads dry more efficiently. DO NOT CRAM THE MACHINE WITH A FREAKIN HUGE LOAD OR OVERSTUFFED COMFORTER BECAUSE IT WILL TAKE FOREVER FOR EITHER TO DRY!

IF you really want to resurrect your dry crusty old towels to restore them back to their former fluffiness, use two dryer sheets per load, not one.

DO NOT BUY the additional filter for the end of the vent hose if you are venting to the indoors because it is really just a waste of money. Just use the clamp provided in the install kit to place an old sock over the end & then tighten the clamp. MAKE SURE that there aren't any holes in the sock & yes, it not only freshens the stale air of the home, it also aids in warming my small home.

works great!! the lint filter is hard to remove, I feel like I'm breaking it to remove it. but no problems. I put it to the test, 5 towels in the 1st load dried in about an hour, 8 towels in the 2nd load dried in almost 2 hours, and 10 towels (I'd say max capacity) I fell asleep and they were dry in the morning! So happy to have a dryer and not hanging on the line anymore. was easy to install and plugs in to a regular wall outlet.

Haven't had a dryer for last few years as my contribution to saving the earth. Works out fine with the exception that my towels are now like sandpaper, and the cat/dog hair seems to jump on my socks as I walked in the house. But no more animal hair! Does a great job of removing hair! This dryer may take a little longer to dry clothes, but leaves them soft and not burned by too hot of a dryer. My Panda is vented thru the old dryer vent. Comes with 110v attached cord, and vent.

My wife and I are very pleased with the Panda dryer. It drys clothes better than our old, traditional dryer. It is very light and we hung it on the wall in our small laundry closet. It works well for the two of us but if the children were still home the volume of laundry would probably be too much for this dryer. We managed to overheat it once when we did three big loads one morning. The unit has a built-in shut down feature to protect itself if it gets too hot. If this happens, unplug it and let it cool down. Then plug it back in and it will start right up. None of this information is included in the manual. We had to look it up on line. We plan to get the smaller Panda for our vacation home.

Dryer is large, quiet, no broken parts. Drys well, no bad smell from dryer. A good value. Dryer is a little to large for the stand we bought seperate but it's well secured to the wall.

Pros
- easy to figure out
- holds more clothes than expected
-it dries really well
- it dries about the same time and a regular size dryer
-it is 45 pounds so easier to move than a regular size dryer
-light enough to be on a sturdy coffee table
-pretty quite

Cons
--The turn-on, knob is in an awkward place (bottom right hand corner) so we put it on top of a coffee table to have it at a comfortable position and height
-It will just stop working if it gets too hot
-had to wait an hour before it cooled down enough to work again
-Lent remover is hard to reach

We wanted to put a dryer in our basement, but the staircase is 24" wide, making it too narrow for most dryers. This dryer was small enough to fit, and very affordable. It hooks up to a 120V. In terms of energy usage, it uses about half the amps and voltage of a normal electric dryer, but it takes about twice as long to dry. So our electric bill went up a little bit, but no more than if we had bought any other electric dryer. I vented it through my basement window using an aluminum dryer duct and a vent I got on amazon. The tube that comes off the back of the dryer is 3 in diameter, and most ducts are 4 in, but I just used some tape and it works fine. I can fit a full load of laundry in here. Maybe 10 t shirts, 2 pants, 20 baby clothes items, and a towel or two? It takes between 1 - 2.5 hours to dry depending on how full you fill it.

Let me tell you people now this dryer PAN760SF is fantastic! I got mines 2/8/19 but I got home late to opened it to use it but I opened it the next day came with no dents or damage parts I just had to wash something to check if everything was okay with the dryer first I washed a few clothes like t-shirts socks things that was light so after the wash was done here comes the first test oh let me say this it was about 5-8 t-shirts and a few socks and I set it on high for 40 minutes my clothes was dried within 25-30 minutes now okay that was good so the second test was my two pairs of jeans and two pairs of my husbands jeans and added my husband t-shirts "3" and we all know when jeans are wet they are heavy so here it goes I set it too 40- hour now they got dried within 50 minutes now that's awesome so here comes the big test towels I read in another person review that they dried their towels twices and it lasted all night and I said to myself OMG! I hope the HEEEEEELLL NOT! so here it goes so I washed 7 big thick towels set it for the 120 minutes mark now in my mind that should be good right people? Well let me tell you they came out dried within an hour now I was overly with joy and saying to myself again why didn't I get this compact dryer before spending all that money on these fancy appliances that breaks down when they suppose to last longer then they should. Now with all the items I washed and dried with this wonderful and amazing dryer the items will dry even faster with my homemade dryer balls from my sheeps wool. What I'am saying people fantastic and affordable dryer I love it it does the job great for me and plus when it breaks down wish I truly hope not for a very very long time just long as I do what the instructions say how to take care of it I will have no problems. I give this product a 5 star wish I can give it a 10 stars it's that great. Thanks Panda! A Happy MMF Owner Of The Pan760SF Dryer.

I shopped around for a long time before settling on a small washer and drier for my place. I needed something that would fit, and of course I don't have 220v inside so had to be 110v plug. Also I don't like dealing with cheap junk, so it had to be reliable. This is a great partner to my Black & Decker portable washer - I can put two washed loads in here and this will get everything dry. Unless you don't clean the lint trap, like me for the first few weeks. All I could see was the thing on the rim by the door, so was a little puzzled when that didn't seem to be removing lint as I dried more clothes. Eventually, the drier stopped working - I guess it overheated. Good to know there is a thermal protection switch. Anyways, the lint trap is inside, on the back, in a circular unit about 6 or 8 inches in diameter. Just twist a slight bit (not even an eight of a turn) counter-clockwise and pull, then remove the cloth pad, you'll see a fine mesh screen, that pulls off and the lint gets packed on to that part.

I love it dries my clothes fast and big enough for my king size comforter or large load of laundry quiet beautiful inside and out wouldnt trade this dryer for any other portable dryer great buy give it a try you wouldnt regret it i boutlght this to go with my 19pounds compact della washing with the built in motor my loads dry by the time im done washing and rinsing and spinning my next load
