Super nice fridge, installed it in our camping trailer. Cooler good, look forward to years of usage out of this one.

This has more space than I'd expected. However, what I wasn't expecting was that the freezer and refrigerator aren't really separate, so I can't raise the freezer temperature as high as I'd like, without making juice in the refrigerator freeze slightly. And the freezer's also not "frost-free;" it has to be manually defrosted. I didn't think freezers were made any longer that require defrosting!
I love all the Danby refrigerators and freezers. I currently have four running just as well as when I bought them years ago or more recently. I would never by the junk fancy feature stuff that fall apart when you touch them. These are sturdy. I have a dorm refrg/freezer, a regular no freezer 11 cu feet refrg, a 5 cu foot freezer, and and the 7 cu foot frig/freezer (last one for my cabin) I have my eyes on the 30" only refrigerator with no freezer, but I really don't need one. Sigh
I had a very small space to fit a refrigerator and wanted the stainless steel look.I could not find American manufacturers that made this size of refrigerator in stainless steel so I ordered the Danby which is based in Canada but the refrigerator is made in China. The first refrigerator arrived with dents on the front There was no obvious damage on the box. This is consistent with several other comments. I called Amazon and they agreed to exchange the refrigerator without paying return shipping. The second refrigerator arrived about a week later and an exchange was made. The second refrigerator arrived in excellent condition. I would have given a lower star rating but since I felt the customer service of Amazon was excellent, I gave the product 4 stars.
the Danby unit is as advertised--pretty basic but very functional--works great and will get as cold as you'd like it to.
MUCH MORE IMPORTANTLY, Global Supply and Danby are just terrific to work with! Danby unit had some issues when it was delivered. I reported the issues with some photos to Global and the young lady there in service (Kiri :-) )responded immediately She contacted Danby and we had the entire process mapped out in just a couple of days. Global, Danby and I all met our commitments and I ended up with a quality unit. Customer service when something goes amiss is HUGELY important to all of us--and these two companies earned the 5 stars I gave them! Thanks!!!

Perfect size for a studio apartment! I've had it over a year now. No problems. Lots of interior space for the size.
