Function and finish are perfect. The unit was packed well and parts were secured during transit. I was hesitant to use for a couple days while the refrigerant settled and compressor stabilized during transport because it gave me time to read the "Refrigerant could explode" claims too many times.
With room temp water, and I strongly suggest using a filter like zero water, it takes about 8 min for your first batch of 8 cylindrical ice nuggets to be made. Even on large ice you'll need a few cycles for that first drink.
Nuggets are frozen, but barely. Noise level is very low during the freezing cycles but it's very loud when it drops them into a tray to be mechanically shoveled into the smallish bin. My dog hates the noise it makes during the collection cycle.
You'll get 3-4 full ice bins to every water fill. Ice melts back into water reservoir to be recycled. It stops when it's full, IR sensor beam broken, and starts up again when the IR sensor path is unbroken again (ex. Ice melts). I let it run continuously and it will always have a full bin and the ice making process gets down to 4-5 min. A full bin is suitable for 4-5 8oz glasses of ice.
Worth every penny but it's not a solid 5 star.
I would give this a 5-star rating except for the fact that it's kind of noisy. Despite that, I run the appliance daily. At this point I've only had the machine for a week. However I did buy the extended warranty 'just in case'.

Solutions for Issues:
Problem 1: "Add Water" indicator is on.
Possible Cause: Lack of water.
Solution: Stop ice maker, fill water and press button "Power" again to restart the unit.
Problem 2: "Ice" indicator is on.
Possible Cause: Ice is full on basket.
Solution: Remove ice from basket. Continuous press button "Select" 5s, the unit can make ice 10 cycles even "Ice" indicator is on.
Problem 3: Ice cubes stick together.
Possible Cauce ①：Ice making cycle is too long
Solution: Stop ice maker and restart it when ice blocks melt. Select small size to operate.
Possible Cauce ②：Water temperature in inner tank is too low.
Solution: Replace water. 45℉-90℉ is recommended to water temperature.
Problem 4: Ice making cycle is normal but no ice formed.
Possible Cauce ①：Room temperature or water temperature in inner tank is too high.
Solution: Recommended room temperature 50℉-105℉, recommended water temperature 45℉-90℉.

our ice maker on our freezer broke so we bought this little one here and it works very well it's quiet only thing you really here was a small fan and ice dropping very good machine highly recommended
Great item-wife uses it daily for taking ice to work.
Our main ice maker broke we bought this in lieu of a repair as if you could actually find a repairman these days. This unit is delightful and produces ice faster than they claim and you get a choice of cube sizes. It does consume power as any refrigeration device does, so just turn it off when not needed! Makes a little noise when transferring cubes but otherwise small fan level noise virtually indistinguishable. Love the red color!
I like how it looks on my bar. It took longer than I thought to start making ice but once it does start it makes ice at a consistent rate. Just start it up 15-20 minutes before you will need the ice.
