I like the quick install and the look but I hate how hard it is to connect with Alexa, I bought it a week ago and still can't get alexa or the skill to recognize it.
I highly recommend ring as part of your home security system. However, the echo dot may not enchance nor improve the ring's capability. First, Echo dot doesnt have any screen to show the ring's broadcast image, and there is no instructions by ring nor echo that they can be paired. Individually, both are superb piece of technology to have, but dont expect that they can be paired together (not yet anyway). Other echo products that have built-in screens on the otherhand, will do work with ring.
It works well with my att WiFi through the very thick metal door. My modem is across the house, no problem accessing live view or seeing people who ring bell. Has made me feel 10 times safer in my own home. People complaining about the device ppssibly have poor WiFi and should consider an orbi booster. Great product. Have two on seperate properties. Both work great.
