I had spent a significant amount of time reading reviews on wine refrigerators and had reservations about a purchase like this via Amazon (the concern about dealing with a return if there was an issue). The reviews on this Kalamera product were strong enough for me to take the chance.
First, the packaging is excellent. Double-boxed plus thick Styrofoam on all sides showed the company cared about the product getting to buyer in excellent condition.
Followed the directions, allowing 24 hours for initial cooling. And it works great.
Most impressive is how quiet it runs. Seriously, quiet. So much so, I had initial concerns it was not operating. But it was and the wines are perfectly chilled.
Overall, a great wine cooler. Highly recommend.
The product is great, looks beautiful and is as quiet as advertised. If you are installing this into an enclosed area as I did you need to watch the height. It is listed at 33" but the correct height is 33.9". For many people it may not matter. But, in my situation the 1" difference made all the difference in the world and required more work on my part to get it to fit.
Love the look of the stainless along with the beech wood shelves.
Our first wine cooler, and we did a lot of research before picking this one. No regrets as the two different temperature zones are working well. However, one of the wooden drawers got "stuck" all of a sudden (as if glued to the back wall) and, most importantly, it is noisier than our regular fridge. No big deal as our kitchen is pretty big, but it can be irritating at times.
So far it's very quiet - - my last one ( other brand ) was quite noisy - like the wooden shelves

I Love it
After reading some of the negative reviews, we were pretty concerned about this wine cooler. Yet our older cooler has held up beautifully and it had some bad reviews too.
We bought this for our new kitchen renovation to fit under the countertop in a 24" space. We left it sitting upright for the full 24 hours as instructed before plugging in. I like that the shelves are removable. You can fit 3, 750 ml bottles on each shelf except the very bottom shelves on either side - 2 bottles only on those with the necks toward the back.
It's actually quiet, far moreso than our older one, which was not loud. The compressor kicks on, but not regularly (even though we placed water and sodas in the white wine side so open it quite often), and it's not disruptive at all, nor does it stay on long. Otherwise, it's totally silent.
I like the fact you can choose which side for your whites and reds. I'm not fond of the blue lights (which we have turned off). Why do so many wine coolers put in 'spaceship blue' lights? And then there are the child locks - for each door. Great for those with kids!
I'll update in a year regarding longevity.
It took us only 15 minutes to install. And when we plugged it in we could barely hear it running. The temp control for each side is easy to use and accurate. We love this addition to our kitchen. I look forward to years of use and having wine at exactly the right temp!!

This wine refrigerator was exactly what we were looking for for our space. It fit perfectly in the space, looks very high end, and runs very quietly. The shelves can be easily removed also so you can use the bottom half of the refrigerator to stand up taller items and the top half for laying down wine bottles.
Very quiet and I love the dual zones
