EasyGoDryer - Portable Electric Air Drying Clothes Dryer

Surprising good dryer. Got this after viewing similar items no readily sold on Amazon or in USA. One was called new concept dryer which was advertised on a new Zealand home shopping channel called yesshop. That product was not available in US. The other was S20 clothes dryer, again not readily available. Finally this product was advertised on YouTube as air o dryer.
After viewing the you tube infomercial, I decided to purchase this. Basically a popup tent with a blow dryer component that similar to an old fashion hair dryer or space heater. Inside the blower it has good old fashion reliable heater coils which runs on a manual timer switch on the left side.

The tent is thin nylon clothe, simikar to umbrella, framed with flexible tension rods. Comes also with three heavy steel rods that you place on top. The rods are very heavy, have unfinished somewhat sharp edges and in some ways an overkill to brace the tent. Using two out of three is sufficient to brace the tent and provides hanging rods and space for wet clothes.

So far I have use this twice heat drying spin dried damp clothings and works pretty well.

This is a great product for a condo or apartment. I like the collapsible feature that allows me to store the dryer when I'm not using it. However, in order for me to maximize the heat inside the dryer, I needed to use a small strip of Velcro to close the top. I did not seal it completely because you need some air to escape. Also, the power cord to the unit gets hot. I will probably use electrical tape to prevent any problems.

I don't have the room or set up for a clothes dryer and I find this to be a very economical alternative. It's not your best bet for heavy fabrics like denim, but it does certainly help. I have a mini washer with a spin cycle. This helps a lot.
It will dry your undergarment and shirts really well and tends to do better with a mix of different types of clothing being dried together. You'll want the larger items opposite side of the air duct for better circulation.

Large when set up, but breaks down easily to store away taking minimum space. I do love it.
UPDATE 7/17/15 Still loving my dryer. I've noticed one review stating how they altered the dryer with velcro. I'd be leery of doing so because you might create a fire hazard. The vents in this clothes dryer act just like the vents in a standard dryer. The air needs to escape. Just a thought.

Update 9/15/15: I keep getting this question and to tell the truth, it's easier to show you. Enjoy. New slow motion video to help you fold this up and get it out of the way ;-)

it's definitely not like a regular dryer. but it works very well. it is also very quiet. also no trap to empty!

I love this little dryer. I use a portable washing machine (Panda) in my apartment and dry my bulky items in this dryer. If you pack it completely full, yes, it is going to take forever. I usually will throw in 1-2 hooded sweatshirts, 1-2 pairs of jeans, and 1-2 towels and it takes anywhere between 1 to 2 hours to dry completely depending on how much I put in it. It works great and is fairly quiet. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about!

I purchased this because we have a washer, but not a dryer. I like to hang dry, because it is better for the clothes and the environment. However, my partner sometimes needs his work uniform washed the night before and then needs it dry by 5AM. This is a perfect way to dry his clothes. Just leave it on for three hours with the timer and when you wake up you get dry clothes. It is fast if you just have a work uniform in it and a hoodie.

I have ordered this to be able to dry my laundry while I am living in our RV for the next 10 months for work. When it arrived, I opened it and gave it a try.
First, the assembly was a breeze. Just open the pop-open nylon box. There are 3 metal bars that have to be folded out and require one screw each to hold them open (all needed hardware is included). And the blower fits into a port on the side of the nylon box. There are 2 hanging, plastic drying hangers. They are a little flimsy, but will be sufficient if handled with care.
I put a pair of wet blue jeans into the EasyGoDryer at the same time I put a pair of blue jeans into my regular 220v full size dryer. I set the timer on the blower for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, I compared the two pair of jeans. The jeans in the EasyGoDryer were about 90% dry. The jeans from my conventional dryer were about 50% dry.
The blower was surprisingly quiet. I set it up in my living room and was able to watch tv with the blower running. One thing to keep in mind, the heat from the blower will come out into whatever room you have this set up in. My living room got a little warm while I was drying the jeans. This could be a 'plus' in the winter, but not so much during the summer months.
It folds up and stores quite easily. Being in a RV, space is a great concern. I feel like this will work perfectly for my needs.

works just as it said it would.

be careful: when unfolding the product it suddenly sprang itself out and one of the plastic hangers went flying at top speed. I am glad that it did not hit me in the face- that would have been bad. Otherwise, it works like it is advertised, it has just flopped over a few times from the weight of the clothes - which i did not think were too many but apparently were. The metal rods tend to come out easily when i pull the clothes out- that is a little annoying but not a biggie - they go right back in. some velcro to keep the rods from pulling out would be nice.

Honestly I was very skeptical. But my dryer of 12 years broke, we are a family of 5 and I do not have the money right now for a +$1000 appliance. I saw this on amazon and it has saved my sanity. It holds less than a dryer of course but gets the JOB DONE and I recommend it highly. It is pretty quiet, dries the clothes and is very efficient. I am not sure it can hold up to very long term usage as it is only plastic after all but I will post again after a few months. So far it has held up extremely well. The guy who invented this was a genius.
