I recently got a cricut and was getting into making vinyl decals and originally purchased cricut transfer tape (HORRIBLE btw.. way too sticky) that ruined a few of my products and I originally thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Found this on Amazon and my gosh let me tell you, this is THE perfect tape. It doesnt have those annoying grid lines, its sticky but not too sticky AND it comes in a giant roll! If you are contemplating buying this.. trust me, and just get it now and say goodbye to those pesky sticky tapes that ruin and stretch out all of your vinyl. This tape even works great with intricate thin designs! Love it! Will purchase again!
I dont understand the negative reviews about this not sticking and picking up vinyl. Yeah i have to work it a bit by rubbing it with a squeegee but this is by far the best one ive tried, and ive tried them all. I was hesitant at first because it doesnt peel off of a backing like others do but then i discovered i can get more done faster with this transfer tape than i can with others, and i have no problem getting it to stick. Others that peel off a backing tend to roll. I can pull out a long sheet of this, lay all my designs out on it, then cut them out, instead of cutting a piece for each design and putting it on one by one. Other tapes stick too much and wont let go of the vinyl. The only thing about this one really isnt a problem, but the bonus vinyl they send with it, i dont have any use for as its not the kind i use and i hate to throw it away so its piling up.
The seller obviously takes great pride in their product. Presented perfectly! The product itself is impressive. It does not come with backing, which is what I preferred.
Ordered this twice after buying other brands that did not meet my needs and was hard to transfer. I must say this is the best transfer tape I have used. The only thing I dislike is that it seems to bubble up if wrapped but that has nothing to do with the product itself since I know now that it must be laid flat. This is perfect for smaller designs or designs where you can lay them flat or doing a project yourself. I am looking for another transfer tape that can be rolled and ordering from this same vendor with the expectation that their other transfer tapes will be as good as this. I'd also like to add that I wasn't expecting the free gift the seller added and appreciate it. Will definitely continue to order from this seller!

May 2019- Update: I learned I was cutting my decals too deep which is why they were not coming off the backing. I no longer have to remove my decals to put on Parchment paper, and the tape works great still!
September 21st- Updated Review: So My last review I was having an issue with the decal sticking to the tape but I solved my problem. I transfer the decal to Parchment paper or a different backing and the problem has been solved. I think the decal just kept falling back to the original backing because that's what it was originally "Adhered" to. I haven't had the issue since transferring the decal to parchment paper and using that as a backing. The transfer tape isn't too sticky where it wont come off the decal once the decal is placed, either. Changed my 2 stars to a 5 star since I don't think it was the transfer tape that was the issue. I plan to buy another roll as now that I've solved my problem, the rest isn't that big a deal.
August review: So I purchased this because of all the great reviews. The Transfer tape doesn't always stick to the Vinyl - you have to spend a few minutes really pressing on the front and the back of the decal when the tape is applied and even then, the decal may not be stuck to the tape. I have received a few complaints from clients (This was even after I took the backing of the decal off as I stuck the decal to the tape so that I knew when they peeled it, it would come off.) saying they had a hard time getting it to stick to the tape.
I had put this on a few other decals as well, and then let them sit over night. The next day, they were stuck to the backing again - the transfer tape would come right up with no issues, and no decal stuck to it. Highly disappointed. I won't be purchasing this again, and I will only be using the rest of the roll for personal use.
I am buying this transfer tape for the second time. It picks up the vinyl very well, and on most surfaces it transfers well too. It worked absolutely perfectly when applying vinyl lettering to painted drywall. However on some surfaces it was nearly impossible to use: high-gloss painted cinder block was too slick and too bumpy - the vinyl stuck to the transfer tape and would not stick to the wall. Beware when using on windows - it was virtually impossible to move once it started to stick.
So if you are seeing a mixture of reviews I think it is because it works differently on different surfaces:
Windows, glossy tile - very unforgiving, once it touches you are 'stuck' so to speak
drywall - perfect
super glossy painted surfaces - nearly impossible to get the vinyl to transfer off of the tape
You definantely get your money's worth and then some. I use to buy the name brand transfer paper and it was so expensive. I got tired of paying that price for small amounts. I found this and bought to try. I am on my third roll so I figured it was time for a review. Very very affordable especially for the quality and amount you get. It last me quite awhile. This is the only kind I use or buy anymore.

I love this transfer tape. It has just right amount of sticky to take out the vinyl from the back and release easily.

I tried cut my daughter's favoriate k-pop band's logo and it came out great.
I used tape for glass, wall and paper notebook- when I use on paper notebook I was little worried that tape might tear paper. but came out good with no damage on paper.
