Great buy. My grandson love the skin color on his echo dot.
Although, the added protection is great, especially for rooms eith "rough" activity, like children's rooms or a busy/high traffic area.. it really does seem to make it harder for Alexa to hear me. That does make sense, considering it covers alot of the speaker, but I haven't researched where the microphones are. "I'm not a doctor," but I've removed mine for now.. until it is in a area it needs the added protection. Either way, it does protect the unit and give tit more grip/adhesion to tabletop surfaces, I guess, but at the cost of dampening the sound - which hurts it alot considering it doesn't have the best speakers out of the few of the mini smart speakers, like Google's for example.
Bought this one upon seeing the email suggestion and I love it. It perfectly fits the echo dot and doesn't affect sound quality.
