So, pinot fanciers, this is what you came to find out: how many Burgundy bottles can you fit?
I find my Oregon pinots and Premier and Grand Crus come in essentially two different sized bottles. One I think of as 'small', the other as 'large'. The diameter at the bottom is what I'm talking about.
By judicious foolery with the shelves, you can fit 12 small and 11 large bottles in here. The 12th large one will fit too if you don't mind one shelf where the bottles are diagonal and not seated properly on the shelf. That one squirrely space is actually big enough for 3 champagne bottles, so 12 small pinots, 8 large, and 3 champagne is how I've got this baby racking. For shipment, the shelves will be in a weird configuration - every shelf will need to be dropped down 1 row, and one will need to be turned over to top a rack of 4 large pinots and give room for the 3 champage on top of it.
Temperature control is fine, my house generally stays in the high 60s or low 70s and these bad boys don't have any trouble keeping a full fridge within a degree of any chosen temperature - I usually store at 55, might drop it down to 50 if I'm opening a white later that night. Works fine.
I bought my first one of these Wine Boss units 7 months ago, just bought a second one, so I guess that says as much as it needs to about how well I like it. I also have a 168-bottle Avanti unit out in the garage - holds about 120 pinot bottles - but frankly a smaller unit has some advantages as well - I can easily maneuver this one around, at least while it's empty, and it's whisper quiet!
Well built and very quiet! Various sizes of wine bottles fit nicely without the need to remove any shelves. Has a bright LED light with an auto-shut off feature. Took about 2 hours to cool down to 52 degrees and has held steady. Good value for the price!

If you want icy cold-get a mini fridge....but if you want to store wines at their optimal temperature without a noisy device-this is your friend!
Looks good, but will not keep temp at 52 degrees when when room temp goes above 77 degrees.
Just purchased this unit based on the value (cost per bottle of capacity) and reviews. So far I'm quite pleased.
I've had bad experiences before with other brands that were poorly packaged and arrived broken; the Electro Boss was packaged in a sturdy carton and arrived without a scratch. The first thing I did was to turn it on and check the accuracy of the thermostat, using a good thermometer. With the thermostat set at 55 degrees, the temperature readings were within one degree on each shelf -- so this model is both accurate and consistent from shelf to shelf.
Two caveats - the shelf spacing can barely accommodate standard Bordeaux-type bottles, so wider bottles would mean removing some shelves. Also the unit had a strong plastic/chemical odor inside. I wiped it down with a moist cloth and let it air out for day or so, and the odor was mostly gone. This has been an issue with other brands I've owned as well.

Very quiet and keeps a steady 53 degrees. Stainless front is very attractive. Replaced a compressor type wine frig with this thermoelectric. Compressors are very noisy, plus only lasted a few years. Have had this for a few months now and I like it a lot. I would recommend this product and vendor

We bought this stainless steel wine refrigerator for my daughter and her husband for Christmas. They love it. I was just up at their place and they have it in their family room area, and it looks great. I counted and there were 28 bottles in there of some nice Italian wines, etc. Pleased with the purchase!
This is a sturdy and well designed as a accent appliance. It runs so quietly that you wouldn’t know it was on without the temp illumination. It holds temperature on the high and bottom ends of the unit with little or no variation.
I needed a wine refrigerator that showed the temperature. this unit is a great value for the money. Compact, nice looking and keeps my wine at the right temperature.
The only thing else I could have wanted was the ability to change the swing of the door.
