I probably would have given this five stars for the overall rating but this last 2 storage boxes that I received today made me rate it lower. On the whole, I think the storage boxes are are nice especially for the price. In fact I've bought 2 packages already and today the third package arrived. Each package has two storage boxes. The very last storage box I opened has a tear inside that could compromise the integrity of the archival protection. I'm going to tape it up just so that it doesn't tear any further. I was sort of disappointed with that. Also, there aren't any little labels that come with the storage box. there's a nice little label holder that's placed in the front of the storage box, but there aren't any blank labels that come in the package. It's not a huge deal but it would make the product just that much more convenient.
I am using these boxes to sort my scrapbooking paper by color, season, and designs. They hold a tremendous amount of paper. When I am working on a scrapbook/project I put them on a long table side by side. This way I can find the perfect stuff I need without having to search through file folders, organizers, etc.... This system gives me the perfect balance of organization and compact storage. I am disabled and cannot scrapbook like I used to do but with this system I can start a project without out frustration and gather my papers with ease. I currently own 8 of these boxes with a need for 4 more. Like all scrapbookers I have a lot of paper ;)
NOTE: I use these boxes for 12x12 paper storage. The boxes are longer than 12" which is great because I do not need to bend my papers to get to the one I need.
I bought these to store mementos for my kids that I would later use for scrap booking or just to keep for them. Great size, sturdy, and look nice on shelves. I'll be buying more and organizing the kids stuff by year. Awesome product and great price.
After years of sitting in a cardboard box, it's finally protected properly.
These boxes are great for storing archival pictures and documents. The only issue I had was that the label holder isn't attached at the bottom so labels fall out.
