Full disclosure: I am an absolute beginner when it comes to acrylics.
These paints felt really easy to use. They went on the paper smoothly and dried fast. They also cleaned up really easily. My paint brush rinsed off very well after each use. The gray and black are both so, so good! The only problems I had were with the colors Viridian and Violet. Maybe my paint brush was too wet, but the colors were pretty thin initially on the page. I had to go back over with a think coat to make it more solid.
The only bad thing about this set (and it's not really bad) is the "Emerald Green". It's really more of a Mint Green. So, I'll just say that's a poor bit of labeling, and not really a problem with the paints themselves. Great product!
I’ve really enjoyed painting with these, and am really proud of the work that was created with it
Good value for your money
KINGART's 505-24 12ml Acrylic Set is a wonderful set of 24 color of acrylic paint.
The acrylic set comes in metal tubes and the paint works great on canvas, wood, paper and glass and most importantly, it is fast-drying.
I am often using acrylics for painting and also for modeling, and I'm always in need of acrylic paint sets that often have multiple colors, for example, shades of green and red.
If anything it's great for the beginner wanting a solid set of 24 acrylic paint colors. A few (in my opinion, around two) colors may not be what one is expecting but considering the value and what is included in this versatile set, I highly recommend this KINGART 505-24 12ml Acrylic Set!!!
This is a great set of paints for someone getting started in acrylic painting. It has a variety of both warm and cool colors so you really mix up just about any color you want or need. The quality is good, the paints are nice and creamy. The coverage is pretty good, so these are a good student level quality. The white included in the set is marked Titanium white but looks more of a warm white than cool when compared to another artist brand paint.
If you are serious about learning to paint, you will be very happy with this starter paint set. Get yourself a large tube of Mars black and Titanium white and you will be all set.

My wife has a degree in Visual Arts so she reviewed this product. I have used various brands of acrylic paints over the years and this is a nice set of 24 paints. I would recommend them for beginning artists, art students, etc. because the price is affordable and the paints are good quality. The colors blend well and the consistency is not too thick or thin. Overall, a nice set of acrylic paints!
This is a super good price for this set. The paints are thick and nice- even the titanium white. Straight out of the tube it completely covers dark pencil marks. I love the color assortment- four greens and four blues make it great for landscape painting. Nice case for them; keeps them arranged so they don't get out of order.
These are bright and versatile acrylics , most of the colors are excellent the violet and the Cerelian blue are a bit weaker than the other colors but all in all.this is a useful set with all the options you would expect from acrylics , they cover and blend well and dry very fast. It also was fairly easy to clean the brushes.
The KingArt Acrylic Paint Set is a great set to get for artists of any skill range. Unlike the cheap bottled paints you can buy at your local craft stores for less than a buck for 2 ounces, the paint in this set is thick, creamy, very pigmented, and can be blended with greater control. I tested the paint out on pre gessoed canvas and the difference was immediately noticeable - I didn’t have to use a lot of paint to get a deep color on the canvas, and the colors were easily softened by diluting with water. Blending was also much easier to control - because the texture of the paint was creamy, the paint didn’t blend together immediately upon touching each other. With 24 different colors, there’s a lot of potential for blending various colors and everything inbetween - a little of this paint definitely goes a long way. Additionally, this paint is easy to wash out from brushes, clothing, and skin, should it happen to get on you.
At the current price point, I found this set was more competitively priced than buying the creamy acrylic paints at the local craft store. I can’t speak for professional artists as I don’t have much experience with the more expensive acrylic paints, but speaking as a hobbyist, I found this paint to be much better than the cheaper acrylics I’ve tried. While it seems like you don’t get much paint, with this acrylic set, a little seems to go a LONG way. Overall, if you’re hobbyist painting on canvas or mixed media paper, this is definitely a paint worth trying out.
This is quite a value--24 tubes of acrylic paint that really work well, easy to apply on a variety of surfaces and holding their pigments exactly as promised. A really good price-point, too, for 24 tubes. One of the most important things to know is what colors are included, especially if what you're working on requires some special shades that may not be included. The 24 here are:
White
Lemon Yellow
Mid Yellow
Yellow Ochre
Orange Yellow
Delicate Rose (kind of a flesh tone)
Vermillion
Scarlett
Crimson Red
Phtalocyanine Blue (a darker medium blue)
Cobalt Blue (a lighter medium blue)
Ultramarine Blue
Cerulean Blue
Emerald Green (which is really yellow-green)
Sap Green (bright medium green)
Viridian (more what I think of as emerald green)
Hooker's Green (darker duller medium green)
Violet
Raw Sienna
Burnt Sienna
Burnt umber (this and the two above are 1-2-3 raw sienna a brighter orange-brown then darker and this, a bit darker still, though still brighter than brown
Raw Umber (this is brown)
Gray
Black
All in all a versatile set of good quality paints at a great price. Especially if you're starting out, this is a very nice set to get.
