Dash Citrus Juicer Extractor: Compact Juicer for Healthy Juice, Oranges, Lemons, Limes, Grapefruit & other Citrus Fruit with Easy Pour Spout + 32 oz Pitcher - Aqua

I am very impressed with this little juicer. I like to make lemon slush with the Meyer lemons I grow but it's tedious with a hand reamer. This machine makes it so easy to extract all the juice - nothing wasted. And it doesn't blow holes through the soft rind. They come out CLEAN - you could use them as serving cups if you like. When I juice hard limes, I find if I push on the top of the lime & slowly move them back & forth, I get a better extraction.

-The adjustable screen allows you to have more pulp or no pulp.
-It comes with a small reamer & a large reamer for different sized fruit.
-The measuring cup is generous & a convenient feature.
-Fairly quiet - yes, it makes noise but it's not really loud like some juicers.
-The power cord wraps around the base for storage.
-It has a lid if you want to store in the fridge.

-The parts are not dishwasher safe but it's a snap to clean this.
-This is the juicer recommended by Cook's Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen.

We love this juicer, so when we encountered a problem with it we were disappointed. However, after dealing directly with their customer service department I have to rate this product at 5 stars. Without hesitation they replaced the product in a very quick and efficient manner. I would recommend this product and company.

I make Key Lime Pie several times a year, and juicing dozens of limes by hand used to be such a chore, that it almost wasn't worth it to me anymore. This year I ordered the Dash Go Citrus Juicer, and it made juicing all those limes a breeze! Not only did it juice each lime dry (thus wasting less), but it saved my time (I'm talking hours) and my fingers. Once the carafe was full, I was able to measure it and pour the juice right into the mixing bowl with the other ingredients. I'm so glad I got this thing! It's nice that I can control the pulp too. I researched and compared several different juicers before going with this one. I'm confident in my choice and happy I made it. Great price too!

Best juicer for the money even if it cost twice as much. My first cost 20 or so bucks and lastes three years. But that’s calling it short considering I have eight citrus trees and used it constantly. Easy to use and easy to clean. Best appliance I’ve ever bought for the money. Finally the first one died ( after a couple thousand oranges, tangerines and grapefruit) so I bought two more so I’d always have a backup. Best buy you can make for a juicer. Update: Upgrading to 4.5 ⭐️ Have been using this juicer weekly for about 3 months or so. The tabs, which were a little stiff at first, are more relaxed now while still holding the pulp strainer together. They now easily pop out by pressing down on the pulp selector with one hand while pulling the strainer bottom away with the other hand. Easy!

I’ve juiced a lot of oranges, mostly navels and Cara Caras, and we really enjoy the excellent quality juice made (never going back to the awful store-bought juice!). About 11-12 of those-sized fruits makes for 24 oz of juice. Have also juiced lemons for lemonade and it’s excellent at that.

A couple of tips - for oranges, the reamer’s torpedo shape doesn’t quite match the generally domed shape of an orange half, so it’s a good idea to be careful to not press down too much when juicing, as the tip can dig into the pith and make for a bitter juice. Instead I sort of feel when the tip is getting to the top, and then use both hands to squeeze the sides onto the reamer. In future models it would be helpful, in my view, if the reamer were a little more dome-shaped for oranges and other round fruits. For lemons the smaller nested reamer shape is perfect.

The other tip is on the strainer. We like low/no pulp, so I close off the strainer, but after filling the vessel with juice, I open it fully to let the most juice I can drip on through before cleaning it out. Prevents drips from the unit to the sink, and you get a few more drops of that delicious juice. Another suggestion for future models - a larger reservoir to hold up to 24 oz or even 30 oz would be desirable for our needs.

Overall, we’ve become more satisfied with this product, only holding off on 5 ⭐️ due to the desire for a more rounded reamer for large round fruits, and a desire for a slightly larger reservoir. Otherwise this is a very good juicer that we are generally very satisfied with.
_______________
Just popped the juicer out of the box and my initial take is that this juicer is just what I was looking for. I ran three navel oranges through it after washing all the parts and had about 8 ounces of pulp-free juice. Love the non-switch, just press down and it starts. Also like the flexibility of the pulp settings. I felt like I got all the juice I could out of each orange.

Noise was actually less than I anticipated. I would not be concerned about waking loved ones in the wee hours unless they’re light sleepers. Certainly not a problem in our dead-to-the-world household.

Like others, I found separating the pulp strainer for cleaning to be a challenge. The three tabs holding them together underneath are stiff. It’s a good thing they are, IMHO, because you’re pressing down as you juice and you don’t want them to snap. I was able to detach them by using a table/butter knife. Flipping the strainer upside down, I inserted the rounded knife tip into one of tabs nearest to the handle on top. I flipped it back over, with the knife still in the tab, and gently pressed downward using the pulp setting tab, while pressing gently upward with the knife. Success!

Naturally, I can’t comment on durability, given a single use so far. But I can say I was really pleased with the juicing function. And I would give five stars were it not for the stiff tab challenges. Even so, I found the performance on this first run to be excellent.

Nothing I love more than a tall glass of freshly squeezed Texas ruby red grapefruit juice in the morning, and this gadget makes it a breeze. Works like a champ, no strain on the arm or wrist thanks to the surprisingly torquey motor. Adjustable pulp screen would probably be important to those who don't care for pulp in their juice, but I've always kept it wide open because I like pulp so I can't really say how well it works. Large reamer simply pulls off to expose smaller one for lemons and limes for your margaritas, limeade/lemonade, etc. Large one (obviously) works for grapefruit and oranges. Very well designed and I can't believe how inexpensive it is. Easy to clean, mostly just rinse in hot water, the pulp screen requires a little sponging. Great value for anyone that loves citrus juice. I was wanting an electric citrus juicer (I have a Breville Juice Fountain but it's a pain using with citrus and a pain to clean as well) and found this one because it was highly rated by Cooks Illustrated. It came in second only behind a model that runs around $200.

Dash Citrus Juicer Extractor is a 5 Star product. Priced under $21 and replacing my 20 year old juicer. This juicer looks fun and practical and easy to wash. The central piece where you place the orange has a lip or blade that turns as you are juicing making sure every little bit of pulp that is in the tray gets squashed and sieved through besides the seeds that remain trapped on the screen .The juice that comes out is fantastic because the juice had no seeds and although all the pulp is used there was no large pulp particles in the drink and it was was smooth. Perfect results just as stated by other reviewers and I thank them for having written lots of good reviews about this product and enough to make me buy it!! I love the new purchase and I recommend it to any one that wants a reasonably priced juicer.
Must keep in mind I only have used it once to squeeze 10 blood oranges but if anything changes I will update my review to explain.

Works well, easy to use & clean. It would really be great for some people that have issues with their hands and can't squeeze like you used to. Plus it doesn't take up much space in my pantry.

So far, so good. I bought this to replace a 15 year old Krupps juicer (a real work horse that I think was made in Germany). This one seems flimsier, it's made in China and plastic of course, but I do love the red color. Having used it only a few times, I am satisfied for the moment, and hope it doesn't break as some of the other buyers have complained above. It works, is a bargain price, and is really cheerful-looking on a counter.

I heard about this juicer on the America's Test Kitchen podcast. I ordered the item right away. It arrived as described and after washing it I tried it out. I was immediately surprised at how well it worked. I started with grapefruits and then juiced some oranges. My machine works flawlessly. It is stable on the counter, has a pitcher for catching the juice so you don't have to line up anything. There is a paddle/blade that squeezes extra juice out of the cells that fall out of the fruit onto the screen which probably adds quite a bit to the juice yield. The Dash Go is very easy to clean and a really nice addition to our kitchen. Highly recommended.
