Needed an array of needles at a reasonable proce and this offered both so I ordered them hoping they would be of good quality and pleased that they were. I embroider and these are perfect for that. With the varying sizes and eye widths and lengths they can be used for different threads and stitches. These would also work for cross stitch projects as well as felt and various others. They are sturdy without being too thick and are not cheaply thin and bendable either. These are a really great deal for the price compared to the local craft store where I live. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend them.
These needles are great for fine embroidery work. The eyes are big enough to thread easily. (I have bad eyesight, but I use the available needle threaders.) The various sizes make it possible to choose different sizes of thread. Excellent product and value.
this is the perfect set for a beginner. It comes with all sizes of needles to fit 1 strand of embroidery thread, 3 strands, or even a full 6 stranded thread. It makes looking for needles easier and I don't have to go searching for all kinds of needles to use. Its one set for all you need~
Plus the gold tip is very pretty and makes pushing through the fabric at ease. I've never had any problems with it and its super easy to use.
I do embroidery with floss and crewel with wool. These needles are perfect for embroidery with floss. I like the variety of sizes in the pack. As I change floss colors, I leave the needle threaded so that I can rapidly change colors using a pre-threaded needle, rather than using only one needle and changing the floss all the time. There are enough needles in this packet to be able to have a bunch of floss already threaded. I then stick the threaded needles into a piece of fabric to hold them, ready for use. I like Clover brand as they are easy to thread and remain sharp.
I do a lot of embroidery and this is my favorite brand. My project vary from using 4 strands of thread to one, and sometimes adding beads. The different sizes makes doing a variety of projects easy.

Great price for what you're getting - cheaper than in any of the craft stores. The needles are easy to thread but are a bit fragile - if you are working on tough fabric where you're pulling and pushing, the needle may snap. Overall, 4 stars.
These needles are awesome! I mainly use them for embroidery on denim but they have really become my go to needles for just about any sewing. They stay sharp for a long time and hold up very well when sewing through thick seams over and over.
The needles are strong, but thin with large holes to insert the thread, making it easy to pass through the material.
This is a great needle.
I love the Gold Eye needles for hand embroidery and cross stitch.
The quality is very good, and I've never had a problem with any of the Gold Eye needles.
I would recommend these to any crafter who uses threads to embellish or create.
Not as nice as John James needles, but a very nice quality. The eyes are smooth and easy to thread with crewel wool or embroidery floss, and the price is reasonable. I prefer chenille needles for crewelwork.
