I LOVE the smell.. that's the only thing to like about this. I've used tons of different conditioners on my thick, curly, long hair, and this might be the worst I've ever used. It leaves a really strange residue and makes it almost impossible to comb out. I have used all natural hair products before and I know that there's an adjustment period but I've given it 3 weeks and there is zero improvement in it's effectiveness, in fact, it may have gotten worse as time as went by.
REVISION: I admittedly hated this shampoo and conditioner for about 3 weeks, not kidding, HATED it. But, after I talked to a friend about it, they told me that I need to do a cleansing mask to remove residue from past shampoos and conditioners. So I used a clay mask and stripped all the residual "crap".. the VERY next time I used it, I finally got what the big deal was. I know I sound very wishy washy, but I will buy this again. Only real drawback now is the amount of conditioner I have to use on my hair for good coverage, but that's nothing new with this brand as opposed to others.
It was the first time I used this product and I absolutely loved what it did for my hair on the first use. My hair is kinky coils, fine, thin, dry and low porosity (yes, I have it all ;-)). I had been looking for a "staple"/holy grail shampoo that's all natural and this product is the answer for me. I was amazed and very pleased that it cleansed my hair without stripping it. My scalp can be sensitive to some ingredients in typical shampoos causing it to become itchy and dry and because of the coil issue my strands often recoiled and became tangled (squared) especially the ends; the most fragile part of the hair which made length retention difficult due to breakage. NOT so with this product it left my hair hydrated and loosened the "recoil-effect' virtually leaving NO tangles. Thank you Lord. I am so happy to have finally found a shampoo that gives me what I've been looking for, for a long while. I would recommend this product to an curly girl but ESPECIALLY to African type four hair with emphasis on 4c. I found it to be an amazing product with just one use, so it can only get better. BZ to the creators, job well done. This product is affordable and will definitely cut back on being a product junkie. This works for me.
Love this shampoo and conditioner! I'm a big fan of seaweed products--so beneficial for the skin and hair. This really leaves my hair in great condition--I've noticed less breakage since I've been using these. Also, of note, the unscented version of the shampoo and conditioner really is unscented--no smell of seaweed or anything else. Not that I would mind the scent of seaweed, but I know a lot of other people would object. No worries--no smell!
I have extremely sensitive skin and suddenly couldn't use traditional shampoos and conditioners without having a reaction. This brand is fantastic! It's non-irritating and soothing to the scalp. I am also an African American woman with relaxed hair and this conditioner just soaks right in and makes my hair soft. Love it!
This product is way better than its shampoo counterpart and I have no complaints about it. My hair feel soft and it has a fairly pleasant scent, all in all it does its job. It can be a little difficult to get out of the bottle after a few uses which is a little annoying but it isn't a huge turn off. There's nothing particularly amazing about it in my opinion but it is definitely not a bad product. I definitely get more Argon than lavender from the smell but thats not necessacrily bad, it's different from most of the overly sweet scented hair products I've used in the past if that's what you're going for.

This works great on my curly/wavy hair. It's really moisturizing. I thought it would naturally have more of a natural smell than it does, so it don't really cover up smells in your hair. It got out campfire smell just fine, but it did not get rid of the vinegar smell after I did a hair mask with apple cider vinegar in it. Other than that, I'm very happy with it and am happy to be using an earth friendly product that works.
Smells great. Good, thick conditioner. I wish they would put it in a bottle that can be stored upside down because it's very difficult getting thick products out of bottles like this. That's the only reason I took off a star.
this is great!!! it says voumizing and it is...also one thing it doesnt say is how silky and swishy . i am so glad i found it and will tell all my friends..
I think it has a nice smell and I really like how it smoothes out my curly hair. It feels soft and looks shiny. I also think it has a nice consistency. I am satisfied with the product.
. i love it. lathers very well suds everywhere, this shampoo cleaned my hair SO WELL!! and the conditioner revived it. outstanding.... bladderwrack... wow 10 thumbs up
