- There is a three dollar a month cloud usage fee. Make sure you charge the rechargeable batteries that come with it. If you do not you will have to take it apart and charge them anyway so make sure you have a charger.
+ I made many mistakes in my initial installation of this device. They were all my mistakes and I became very frustrated when it's security system shut me out. Really that's good but for me it was frustrating. On the other hand by calling technical support they got me through it and talked me through re-installing the system and getting it working. Then I broke the bracket. Once again tech-support came to my rescue and sent me a new bracket. The picture and sound quality is fantastic. I recently became a paraplegic and this has been a lifesaver for me. Now I don't have to transfer to my wheelchair and waste the five minutes it takes to get to the front door to find that somebody rang the doorbell and left a package.
I recently made an unexpected discovery. Whenever the RemoBell receives an alert my iWatch 2 will activate an alarm. I can't view who is at the door or allow me to speak with them but it does tell me if the bell is pressed or if the movement alarm was triggered. I did not see this feature in any of the literature. To me it's a useful feature.

I was looking for a compliment and back up to the Ring Pro that I use as my primary door bell. I wanted a product that did not need household voltage to put on the other side of my double door front entry. RemoBell is exactly that. After reading their company story I decided to give it a try.
Everything that you need to install the unit and make it functional comes inside the very nice packaging. The unit is very attractive and built completely encased to withstand the elements. It was easy to install and requires very small holes to mount should you need to move it to another location at some point.
Connecting the unit to the house WiFi and mobile phone was straightforward. I was able to complete installation and setup without needing to contact their service or support.
Now that I have been able to use it for a while I really appreciate the convenience of being able to answer the door remotely and to know what is going on at front door. The unit’s motion detection and video quality are excellent. I really like having two units at my front door. No blind spots and one or other will detect motion. Plus, if one is disabled for some reason the other one will be functional. I am very pleased with my purchase of the RemoBell and highly recommend it.

This is really pretty cool. The reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it eats 6 AA batteries every 2 weeks! I bought a transformer and wired it into that since I was going broke buying batteries. If it wasn't for that, I'd definitely give it 5 stars.

Our home was built in 1926 and there was no good wiring to place a standard doorbell much less a video one. We also do not have good visual outside our door. I wanted a quality video doorbell with good picture and the ability to communicate with a visitor. Remobell fits the bill superbly. The video is excellent and communication is crystal clear. Over the past few months of use it triggers appropriately. Install was a breeze and I mounted it into the stone with anchors. The smaller screws to secure the actual device to the mount require a smaller screwdriver so have that on hand. The rechargeable batteries included were a 50% level on install and lasted 3 months through a number of package deliveries and visitors. The interface over your mobile device is intuitive and you have the choice of paying to store video on the cloud. It would be nice to have access to your doorbell through a computer browser. Also a remote indoor bell for the device would be useful as our home has multiple floors. It does make a loud sound when the button is pressed but you cannot always hear it. One of the only cons is not everyone pushes the doorbell, but only so much you can do.

Nice product. I was looking for a no wire product that would be working on battery power. It was easy to set up.
With full charged batteries it lasts months. Motion sensor works as expected, has good video quality for both day and night. Product can be improved by having a remote connection bell for inside the house since it cannot be heard. The only option is notification sounds on the phone. And phones don't have many options for notification unless a third party app is installed, which I did. So when the bell rings my phone rings like a door bell. Another suggestion for improvement would be an option to be able to turn on the camera via the app even though there is no motion or ring. It would be nice to check the surroundings at times.
The only issues with the product was while I was abroad. Even though I did not change the password, after a few days, authentication error occurred and I was unable to login, until I figured and changed back the location back to USA. So due to IP change, app changes the location to another country automatically and login fails to go through. When I changed the country back to USA, problem was resolved. That might need a software fix.
In summary, I enjoy using the product and recommend to others as well. If the suggested improvements are made, it will be more worth paying that price.

Overall, I really like this product. I work from home and feel much better about being here all day when I'm able to know what's going on outside my front door. A few comments on our experience with the bell and its accompanying app after having it in use for the past three weeks:
1) Set-up was very easy. We mounted ours onto a brick exterior and it was a breeze, took about 20 minutes. Would suggest being handy with a drill.
2) It does suck up battery life fairly quickly. We probably have about another 1.5-2 weeks before batteries will need to be changed, so expect to change every month and a half or so. This is with middle-of-the-road settings in place.
3) Video quality is really great, even at night.
4) The motion sensors are supposed to be designed to decrease the number of "false alarms." However, we get upwards of 20 notifications a day, mostly from cars speeding past or...nothing at all. It's not a big deal, really, since I can look out the window and see if anyone is on the porch, but it is a bit weird. To note, our front door is probably about 25-30ft from the street.
5) I think another review mentioned this, but our video often doesn't start recording until a person (like the mail carrier or UPS delivery person) has their back turned to the door. I suppose this is less of a big deal if someone is hanging out on the porch after ringing the bell, but also wanted to note that this happens.
6) I see that Olive & Dove responded to someone's comment that there was no way to tell if the doorbell was pushed if a phone is off or on silent, and that O & D are planning to release an indoor chime in September. I will say that I am incredibly excited for the release of that, since that has been one of my major grievances about this product. My phone automatically reverts to "Do Not Disturb" at a certain time in the evenings, and only phone calls are able to come through, so I will be ecstatic once a real chime is released.

Like I said, I am overall very pleased with this product. We did not have a doorbell already hardwired on our rehabbed house, so we were thrilled when we found a video doorbell that did not require it. My parents purchased another brand of video doorbell and are having nothing but issues with it, and I think they're a little jealous that our RemoBell works so well :)

AMAZING! Video and voice is clear. You can hear and talk from both ends. Super easy to install I did it myself. I live alone in my apartment and being alone is kind of sketchy especially when you hear noises outside at night and have no clue what's going on. When someone passes or rings the bell (pushes the button) it notifies you within 3-5seconds on your smartphone. It came with 6 rechargeable batteries, which is awesome. It is very safe and secure on the wall outside. It's great.

Have had the RemoBell for months. Recommended RemoBell to my neighbor. Systems works good. Would like to have a remote chime for inside the house when some one at the door. I think Remo is coming out with one soon.I would like to see Remo come up with a small monitor for inside the house. Many of my senior friends don't have smart phones. A small monitor hooked up to the RemoBell could work the same as a Smart phone.

Summary: The RemoBell WiFi doorbell met my expectations for a sub-$200 security device. It gives me peace of mind as I have packages dropped off at the front door rather frequently and want something that may deter a potential thief.

Pros:
- Easy setup (online account creation was required, but it was rather seamless) - we got things working in under 5 minutes
- Mounting hardware included
- Loud feedback to the person pressing the door bell button (I've previously played with a relative's Skybell and Ring Pro and one of those didn't give me feedback/noise upon pressing the button)

Cons:
- It's bigger than expected (this was my first impression when opening the box)
- The app took a little getting used to (but it seems they do push updates to the App store)

I bought it on Saturday, and it seems to work just fine. In terms of video quality, the HD comes in and out, depending on your network connection. I don't know how the integration with the doorbell is supposed to work; that part is confusing and the more I'm playing with it, the more I'm thinking it just plain doesn't. What IS nice is the standalone idea that this thing can be completely wireless. That's why a lot of people buy the 3M mounting tape along with this doorbell (which I'd recommend doing). So, I can just stick it to the brick beside my door without having to drill into it.

The motion sensor seems to run on infrared. It cues on large pixel motion, which I think performs adequately, since you don't want a false alarm anytime a bird flies by. The sound quality could be improved, but then again, it was intelligible. The HD quality cuts in and out. A lot of the time it's pixelated. I'm not sure if that's network related or if it's the device. It is wide FOV, so it could catch a lot on the periphery.

I'd appreciate it if they included the battery charger in the original purchase. Since you have to charge the batteries to max before using it, you can't use it straight out of the box until you buy a battery charger. That's my only issue.
