The engine is well built. Good quality. A good potential but I think the software could be better.
Olive one is is very interesting. I like it !
I've been using my Olive One with 2TB hard drive for a number of months. The sound quality is excellent. The Olive One hardware and sound quality is superior to SONOS. The Olive One built-in amplifier quality is very good. I have connected it to two different pairs of floor standing loud speakers and I am very happy with the sound. The audio line out is also good and I at times use it to connect to an external tube amplifier. The shortcoming with the Olive One is with the software. The interface still needs work and it does not have native support for online streaming music services such as Spotify but such services may be connected via Bluetooth. In terms of software and user interface, SONOS is superior to Olive One. Olive One has plans to incorporate many software enhancements and the support team is very responsive. Overall, I am happy with the hardware, not thrill with the software, and very happy with the Olive team as they are eager to collect user feedback, suggestions, and provide excellent support. This is a buy if you plan to play music via the internal hard drive, USB drive, network drive, etc. For Pandora, Spotify users, Olive One offers excellent sound but you will connect via the Bluetooth for now.
Absolutely Great Music Source!!! This is by far the best my system has ever sounded. Super definition audio. The music transfer from computer to Olive One was flawless. It did take awhile...36 hours...due to a very large collection. Olive claims that the One has 250 times the resolution when compared to a cd....I'm a believer. Well worth every cent.
My new Olive ONE is a perfect device for my home! The device is a quality product and has a great design. It is easy to use and I highly recommend it!
