Great skins. I had to buy the Gen 2 Echo Dot R2D2 skin from their eBay store sadly. But, My white Echo and Dot are now R2D2.
The Pros - The skin can be reapplied as long as your device doesn't have oily/greasy finger makes on it.
It stretches and the air bubbles are easy to iron out. It's also a durable, thicker vinyl.
Well, it's Star Wars and R2D2 what else isn't a pro here?
Cons - It's a skin.
Some of the sections aren't very well cut out so an Exacto knife or sharp knife will help.
Being patient is a requirement.
Having OCD sucks.
Other thoughts - It looks great, on top of all the great things Echo can do like "Alexa - May the force be with you." R2D2 is a great conversation piece in himself. Who's R2D2 you ask? Ask Alexa.
I put this on an Echo Plus and it works well. It takes a little care to get it lined up well, but it is easy to make adjustments as you go as long as you don't press it down. The vinyl is good quality and the graphics are well done.
I’ve done skins before that I had to readjust multiple times to get it right- this one is easy!
This was easy to apply and looks great. Make sure not to pull too tight when you apply it or it will stretch and be too big.
It's hard to beat the looks of this. The vinyl applied very easily and I love the matching decal for the remote.

My own little R2D2 unit on the mantel! Was easy to apply. I did have to cut the buttons out on the remote skin, but only because I used my Amazon Fire TV remote, not the Echo Remote. LOVE IT
