Sturdy because of the metal, yet soft on my nonstick pans because of the rubber edge. I use it for everything from fish, to burgers, to scrambled eggs. Great all around spatula.
I use this spatula several times a week on top-quality non-stick cooking pans... This can keep up with them and keep them in tip-top shape... It also hangs to store - a real plus!!
I absolutely love this thing. It’s my first angled spatula. It makes turning, and flipping easier.

Description
Our flexible Stainless Steel fish turner has a thin-angled edge that slips gently under delicate foods to turn and serve them. Not just for fish, it works well for burgers, eggs, potatoes - anything that sticks to metal pans. This cooks’ tool is part of the Christopher Kimball for Kuhn Rikon collection. Each piece in the collection is identified as an essential for the everyday cook.
This seems to be the perfect spatula. It handles beautifully, picks up food smoothly and cleans easily. Enjoyable to work with!
It is on the expensive side, but if you have non-stick skillets you want to protect, it does the job. I have tried the nylon spatulas and found them to be too thick, the silicone ones I tried were not sturdy enough, but this one (as Goldilocks would say) "is just right".
Very nice sturdy spatula for non stick pans. Just what I have been looking for!
My research led me to this purchase after reading reviews of most of the other products offered, it is thin and flexible-perfect for my needs. Was more costly than the turner I’d had for years and had to replace. Really like the edge, does protect my non-stick skillets.
The length is perfect, the edge is thin and slips easily under food, including over easy eggs. However, the pointy sides don't conform to a frying pan or any pan for that matter. Why not round those off?
