Absolutely fabulous range for the dollars!
This slide in range provides a sleek modern built-in look as it slides in slightly over your countertop edges. This is much better than a stand-alone range that leaves gaps where crumbs and grease drip down the sides! Additionally the sunken top provides a nice flush top that is only slightly higher than your countertop. The back has a nice cutout that accommodates your gas hookup and electrical cord allowing the range to mount nicely against the back wall. Electrical cord is already attached leaving only a quick gas hookup to install.
Stovetop burners provide great BTU that allow one to bring a pot to quicker boil! Many out there do not leaving one to wait what seems forever for boil! All oven features are clearly identified making for easy operation. A ten digit keypad allows one to set the oven temp to whatever might be desired quickly rather than pressing arrows until reaching the temp you want! The warming drawer will be very beneficial when one wishes to keep an item warm while baking or broiling another dish for your dinner. I haven't used the self-cleaning feature to date.
This range is well priced for the quality of construction and features. This seller has the best price I could find and delivery was in reasonable time. The delivery team did unpack it from it's crate and deliver it into my kitchen. (know they do leave all packing for you to discard) Final unpacking and install I did myself.
Wow. That's my word with this range every time I use it.

But why the wow?
First the looks:
The side designs make it truly look like it was built in to the cabinets for a custom feeling. The feet are easy to adjust to really finish the overall appearance.
The aesthetics of the cook too is just flawless. It is so easy to look at and bonus! Super easy to clean
Features and "farkle" (features that make it really sparkle.. It's a real term)
The push to release warming door is ok and some times needs to be done over and over. Then messy foot prints happen. I've found that a partial release followed by a grasp on the sides works equally as well. Especially if you get something stuck in the door.
Speaking of the doors, let's talk about how easy the oven and warming drawer are to remove and clean.
Seriously, it is the easiest range I've ever dealt with in this sense. Cleaning it is a breeze since they remove and GO BACK ON so easily.
Cooking/baking/confecting:
I am all about "more power" when it comes to my cooking tools and this is the most important a home chef can have. The burners all have btu ratings that make sense for their likely applications. The center burner is the brute at 18,000 btus. Heating a big stock pot to boil took less than half of the time my 25 year old range did at 10,000 btus per burner. So while the power is there, other smaller burners are quite capable and sensibly put in the back of the cook top. Perfect for that quick cup of soup.
Convection bake:
How I longed for convection bake.
The first time I started to preheat though, the fan didn't kick on. Worried I called Bosch and asked when it starts up.
The quick and kind customer specialist looked high and low to find that it comes on only after it has pre heated completely. Sure enough, a second or two after the preheat chimed, I heard the fan gently whisper on.
Multiple cookie sheets are now welcome in my home!!
The nitty gritty on durability:
When this behemoth arrived the delivery guys had a booboo. I won't go into morbid detail but basically, the frame was bent. Oh did I cry.
Luckily, the point of purchase discounted it, checked it with a Bosch technician, and offered me to return it with no issues on shipping.
I took the discount and hoped for the best.
The amazing Bosch technician and my husband (formerly an amazing auto body tech) straightened the frame.
The Bosch tech rechecked everything (still good, even the lightbulb still worked after their aggressive straightening tactic) and I was in business.
The best part, my warranty remains perfectly intact.
How's that for customer service!!
Installation:
Everything we needed came with it with the exception of a 90 degree gas elbow. All of a few bucks at the local lowes. Installation was easy and only needed a few times to adjust the feet for the perfect look. This unit is incredibly heavy though so we opted to take the door off for this part and make the adjustments easier. The door is insanely heavy so as to lock all your heat in. No more heating my home with the oven and I can finally bake in the summer!!
For me personally:
I live in a century old house that the old owners, let's say they took some short cuts.
Finding a new range was becoming my nightmare but as you can see from my old/new picture it was desperately needed.
The contractor who did the kitchen cut the counters too short to ease space for my teeny tiny kitchen.
Every range simply bulged oddly and looked magnificently out of place. Until the Bosch.
It's a very nice stove, the only thing is that it takes a while to warm up the oven to the right temperature, longer than any other ovens I've experienced.

I love how they have the lip that comes out on both sides over the countertop.
