I've been a longtime user of old fashioned plungers, AKA, Plumber's Helpers. I've gotten pretty adept at their use, too.
So, it was with a bit of cynicism that I obtained the ToiletShroom. I didn't have to wait long to see how well it works. A couple days after it arrived, we had a toilet clog, and rather than pull out the old, trusty, plunger, out came the ToiletShroom.
Once I figured out how to deploy it (took some finagling, and it's hard to describe: start out by following the included instructions, and wiggle it around - you'll get it), it went right in, removed the clog, and VOILA! Open toilet!
As some have mentioned, there is the risk that the ToiletShroom will come out with some of the "stuff" on it, but that's easy to clean off. Just re-immerse the ToiletShroom in the toilet bowl after it's filled with clean water, swoosh and twirl it around, and in my case, all the "stuff" came off. Then, just flush the toilet, and store the ToiletShroom back in the included holder, and you're ready to go for the next clog.

Very easy to use and effective. Makes a tight suction with pipes. I was surprised how well it worked. I'm buying another for upstairs. I'm nervous the handle will detach. Hoping for the best
Update. My fears of this thing falling apart were unfounded. I bought another and they continue to work fine. Well worth the money
I clog the toilet every once in a while and usually a regular plunger does the trick but I really did it this time and didn’t want to spend plumber type of money. I looked through different products and saw this had pretty good reviews so I gave it a chance. It didn’t disappoint! I had to push it through a few times but the clog was gone within a minute! Thank you Shroom!
We have blockages in 3 toilets and it was getting really annoying. The traditional plunger was no longer working and we had to wait for days for the toilet to unblock by pouring hot water and dishwashing liquid (we do not want to use abrasive chemicals). After one instance of a mega-block, this is the ONLY plunger/solution that worked. Its very easy to use and just like the other reviews, make sure that you are holding it to an angle. I'm just not convinced that its "easy to clean" due to the spiral (coiled) end so what I do is to put some disinfectant into the rubber directly and then swish it around the clean toilet water and pour hot water into it so there won't be anything "smelly" left in the coils. I like the fact that it comes with a holder that covers it well.
Works like a charm. Stand is kinda iffy though.

Liked the shape, design and the fact that you only use a minimal amount of water for each flush. We (I) had alot of problems with toilet blockages, even with courtesy flushes. NOTHING clogs this toilet ! Also like the non slam seat and the easy, quick seat removal for cleaning. Durability is unknown as this would require time to evaluate. Great product.
We've, ah, had a few issues as our toilet has the sharp curve in the pipe. This thing is a back saver and actually works as advertised. We were so pleased.
My toilet has been partially clogged for months and progressively getting worse. Before calling a plumber, I decided to give this a try. It works great! My toilet no longer clogs with just toilet paper. Due to the design clean up isnt all that fun, but I let it soak in the clean bowl water and swished it around. It came clean easily. I let it dry before putting it back in the holder.
