Towel works great!!! Love the color & how the material is really soft & stretchy. Works great as a workout towel as well as a bandana. Wish they had more colors. Overall 1-10 o would give it a SOLID 9.3!

I'm a big fan of Mission Cool Wraps, especially on our hiking treks or trips to the Florida theme parks! All you have to do is soak it in cool water, stretch and flick, instant cold!
I have owned the Enduracool for years where it saved me from heat stroke in the Sedona mountains and the Grand Canyon ! I was able to keep up with my children on the hikes due to the cooling down effect the towel had on me. The Enduracool is much larger than the Hydroactive and the material is a thicker polyester on the Enduracool.
This product, the Hydroactive is much more stretchy and thinner. It is easier for me to stretch and flick and seems to get cool quicker. We will be using both towels on our next trip to the Florida theme parks and I will update my review to compare the two.
Since moving to Arizona, I have come to realize the importance of having a cooling towel like this. I ride my bike to work and this is a great way to cool down quickly once I arrive. It is also great for hikes or when working out in the yard. My one gripe about this towel is that mine has developed a fray along the edge, after a pretty short period of time. I have other cooling towels that work almost as well, but are cheaper and don't have any frayed edges. So far, the frayed edge is minor, but could develop into an issue where the towel may rip when you snap it.
Overall, a good product that does work as advertised to cool you down. At this price, however, I wish there were better quality control.
The cooling towel is a great companion for hiking (or any workout). My first adventure with this towel was in Zions National Park in June when the temperatures were in the 90s. I wet it with my water bottle and wrapped it around my neck, which instantly cooled me and protected me from a sunburn on the back of my neck where the sun was beating down on me.
It is hard to say how much cooler the towel feels but I know it felt much cooler than the temperature of the water I poured on it. Similarly, I used this at home after I went running and the towel was much cooler than the lukewarm water I used to wet it.
The towel is so refreshing and instantly helps cool you. I also like that the towel does not dry stiff, like other products I have used, it is machine washable and chemical free.
