My miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix was affectionately known as the turd goblin until we found these delicious turd wreckers. He eats them happily with no idea that he is actually ruining his favorite snack... turds. Just give him one little treat every morning and no more poopy breath for snuggle time later.

I didn't think ANYTHING could dampen my enormous German Shepherd, kennel-bred puppy's enthusiasm for, well, you know, but this product seems to have accomplished that. I mix it in his and his bro's food (I'm also owned by a fabulously non-scat-ingesting Greyhound) with a little water and although it took a while, the GSD's interest in poopsicles seems to have diminished. It helps, too, that I'm no longer hovering and muttering while he produces, which he found immensely entertaining. Now that I'm not sprinting all over my frozen yard in pursuit of steaming deposits, the whole process has lost its novelty for him. I'm not saying that I invite kisses yet, mind you -- and I still scoop, but it's no longer an Olympic event -- but at least I'm able to focus on more important aspects of his training, such as not eating the cat. If anybody has a food additive for that, I'd be very grateful.

This product has made a HUGE difference in preventing our German Shepherd from eating his poop! It was a constant battle and regardless of how much training we did, our dog would not stop licking and eating his own poop. Once we started feeding him this product he quickly quit eating it! I highly recommend at least giving it a try!

This works if you keep using it. I've used it on several dogs and swear by it. Each dog was different and I had to adjust the dosage higher than what the label says. The main thing is it works. May take 6 months or it may take a year or more. But it does work!!😀

I'm hopeful...I have two little dogs (male & female) and an English Bulldog (male), both little dogs like to eat the EB's poop but the female rescue is obsessed!! She has some issues from being a breeding dog that lived outdoors her whole life, she will NOT poop outside, she only poops in the house and will take a small piece and hide it (weirdo). I can see some difference after about a week, she'll run over to my Bulldog's poop, sniff it and walk away. That is a great sign.

I loved the products, i rescued two little sisters, and these girls keep eating their poop, not outside in the yard, but inside the house, i tried recommened products by the vet at the store, and they did not work, i also tried the pumkin mix with the food but actually that gives them lose stool and created a whole other mess. i was desperate for something to stop this condition, i figure is not healthy for the pups and i love the baby breath that was there no more :(.
i did some research and found this product, even if they get some slight diarrhea keep trying unless the diarrhea doesn't stop, other than that this product WORKS!!

Seemed to work, but hard to find locally. Thank god for Amazon! I find it works best when I mix it with plain canned pumpkin (which is also a suggested for poop eaters). This smells strongly of citric acid (think Pixi Stix), so probably keep it away from kids and be aware that some pickier dogs might hesitate at the smell/taste.

My dog is 10 and I have struggled with this since he was 3 months old. Although FORBID also worked, it was expensive and eventually he overcame whatever it was that worked and was right back where he started. This smells nice and minty and I have recommended it to several people. They also love it! It also seems very palatable.

My dog eats poop, any poop, all the time. We recently moved to a house with a fenced yard so other then the occasional neighborhood cat there is no other poop in our yard. We started her on this product, after a few weeks she was no longer eating her poop. We kept her on it but did not buy more when the tub was finished, she continued to not eat her poop, problem solved. We recently got a second dog, and, of course, she is eating his poop. We have now ordered more SEP to put both dogs on it. Something to keep in mind, be sure you are feeding your dog a quality dog food. Nutritional deficiencies can cause your dog to eat poop, but also cheep dog food has sent enhancers which pass out in the poop making it smell just great to dogs. My dog began eating poop when we lived in the city and we went to the dog park where lots of "good smelling" poop could be found, now it seems to be a habit. When we first got our new dog he was on a grocery store dog food and we had to slowly transition him, during which time our dog regained her taste for poop. I was happy with the results of SEP and expect it to work again once I put both dogs on it.

If I could add more stars than the five allowed, I would! We have three dogs! Two enjoy the 'treats' made by the older one as well as their own. This is a great deterrent when I can't immediately remove the lawn mines!
