Good for the money. Use the magnet test on cookware. Beware a lot of cookware says it's compatible, which seems to vary from unit to unit. Here's the total truth on cookware for any induction cooker. Steel bottomed, no nickel steel (nickel gives steel it's rust and corrosion inhibitiveness, and makes it nonmagnetic). So that's not say no nickel stainless is going to that of corrode easily, just easier. A lot of stainless steel cookware is aluminum with steel outside for even heating, weight, and, well affordability. A magnet will stick at least somewhat to compliant cookware that is stainless steel, as well of course cast iron definitely works. So otherwise I advise you to read cookware reviews if you're online shopping for items to use that work with an induction cooker.

We went to a local Shabu Shabu restaurant and saw this cooker, maybe the exact one. It is a no brainer to get one at home; the best application for an induction cooker. It is immediate, safe and even suitable for a hot pot on the dining table in summer! It's even better if you have a cheap round table that you can drill a hole in the middle for the electrical cord.

The stove works well, powerful and easy to clean. The programmable version only makes sense if you use this large cooker to warm milk or use it to stir fry.

The pot is not so good. It didn't claim to be 18/8 stainless steel. I brought an 18/8 pot but it is only slightly thicker and slightly heavier. For Shabu Shabu, I recommend having a partitioned pot so you can dump vegetables or noodles on one side of the pot while maintaining a rolling boil on the other. It is also easier to find things. If you have a family, the cooker can handle larger pots.

This is one of the best price bundles but if you need a better pot, it could cost you at least $20 more.

Works really well, we like it. We don't ever use the watts?? setting because that makes no sense to me. It is a touch control & sometimes it takes me a few tries if I was in too big of a hurry. I don't like that it over heats a small ring in the middle of the pan, even if you use a pan that is supposed to evenly heat. I also don't like that when you turn it on it starts at the highest heat setting (450 degrees F), I rarely use that temp if at all. As far as the pan it comes with, stainless steel is what it is, gets the job done if you don't have anything nonstick (I recommend ceramic nonstick, works like a dream).

This thing is great.. I’ve used it for hot pot many times and even for frying chicken because of the temperature adjustment feature.

Hot pot wise, because the induction cooker protrudes a bit, often times soup droplets gets onto the control pad and presses the touch screen buttons but luckily they have a feature that allows you to lock the touch screen to allow no changes. Another thing, because all the buttons are touch screen, it is easy to clean and the soup and mess does not damage anything internally or externally!

Also, the touch screen and the cooking top are both this flat glass top which makes it tremendously EASY and simple to clean afterwards!! Just a quick wipe and you are done.

The only downside is that you can’t really use any other pot aside from the one in this set unless it was made from a magnetic material. But the pot is a perfect hot pot size and for frying chicken so you should be fine.

If this price is too steep, I also recommend getting an electric burner instead. I have one of those too and they are easy to use, simple and you can use any type of pots on top. Also they are much much cheaper than this set. The outcome is similar when it comes to hot pot.

Excellent purchase for our new kitchen. We decided to ditch a surface stove and use induction cookers when we remodeled with granite countertops. These cookers will heat up to the temperature you set within a few seconds. It takes some practice to get used to the new style of cooking but it is well worth the investment. You can literally put your cooking surfaces anywhere you have a plug.

The only reason this product doesn't get 5 stars is because if left unattended for any time it can boil over and crank up the temp to bad results. Mine boiled over even faster and shorted out. Users fault but design could be better, maybe a shield or something. Price can't be beat and it performs like a champ. You're at 300 in twenty seconds. The pan is junk, get the green ceramic pan with grey cooking surface found on here!

Works well but a little bit to get used to. It will boil a pot of water in the blink of an eye which means it will scorch something much less in size that fast also.

We have thouroughly enjoyed using this induction burner. The only complaint I have is with the pan that comes with it. Have to be very careful that food doesn’t burn in it. Problem could be operator error also! Thinking about purchasing another one.

Flimsy metal cook pot, but I don't use it to make sauces. Best use, I've found, is to boil waters for vegetables. (Save the water for soups & gravies.) Noisy when operating.

Still going strong
Love it. Only thing I would change about this product is if it had infinity temp setting not just the 4-5 temp settings
