I am very pleased with the product overall- and the customer service. With two lenses of separate strength and separate LEDs to light up the object being viewed, it has helped me easily view details - for example, lettering showing battery types on the tiniest of metal cells. Great tool I keep in my desk drawer.
Secondly, however, when this Amazon package arrived, I did not find the small metal tool that was supposed to have been included - most necessary for opening the battery compartment. When I asked for the JARLINK to send a replacement tool, they quickly responded by sending a whole new loupe set rather than taking extra time to find and send the tool alone. While I am sorry to have cost them this expense, at least I can thank them by sharing my experience of their responsiveness with other potential buyers.
Worked just fine as a trichome hunter
Works great. The little built in LEDs are actually useful. One neat thing: if I carefully hold the loop up to my cell phone camera's lens, I can get pretty good photos of the tricomes. I've attached a photo as an example.
I work in the printing industry and this loupe is just what I was looking for. The built in LED really helps to see registration marks on the paper better that the regular loupe we use. I usually need to use a flash light to see the marks due to no direct light on the paper. The built in LEDs do the trick. Will buy again when I loose this one or it walks off with someones help.

OMY, some of my hair fell over my hand when I was looking at my ring thru the loupe and I discovered I have silver hair! HA! That was only on the 30x's too:) Very nice, I can't speak to battery life yet as I've only had it a couple of days. I love it, especially for the price!
I always considered these magnifiers to be pretty much a commodity. Not much differentiation, right? While this is only my second brand, this product exceeds my first one by a mile. The first one was
one power magnification with one
light. The light would slip into the on position so it wasn’t long before it burned out. By contrast, this product comes in 2 magnification powers, has 2 lights and a sturdy on/off switch. The higher light is like a stadium light!! It is blinding if you point it at yourself! It comes in a protective pouch. It also comes with 2 in the order. Instead of moving my other magnifier everywhere (and misplacing it all the time), I can keep one with my jewelry and the other with my jewelry craft components. I’d give this a 10 rating if I could.
I've looked at over 1500 coins and the battery is doing fine. The light is a little bright at first until you figure out how to tip the lens for the reflection not to bounce back through the lens into your eyes. I was looking at shiny Kennedy Half Dollars and was getting blinded until I figured what worked best. I love it and looking to buying a couple more for the grandkids to get the started in coin collection.
Item is great. My daughter took the loupe and wouldn’t give it back, looking at all our antique jewelry to better see the jewelers marks, as well as looking at the gems up close.
Love the LED light. Bright enough to show crystal shapes and sizes on even a dark rock. Bought it to show students rocks and minerals up close. I love the two magnification choices. Students are amazed when they look at the rocks up close.
