Wow this camera is impressive!!! This is the best security camera i have ever had! It rotates 360 degrees, has night vision, follows the movement, has HD video definition, sends the alarms to my phone!!! This is truly the best i have ever seen! Highly recommend this camera!! I am buying more!!!
I am very pleased with this camera. We bought it to put in our attice. Thought we heard something. The picture quality is great. The features are nice. Still learning app. Only downfall it wont let me turn off free month trial of icloud video storage. We dont want it and itvwont let me stop the ad popping up. Thats why its getting a 4 star.
The picture is of attic in the dark. Great night vision. You can also record and zoom in. I could even dpeak to my husband while hecwad up there.
This camera is amazing. The coolest features are the alerts and it tracks movement. When i first received the package, the set up took me a bit to get used to but didnt take too long. It is user friendly but it takes time to get used to using the features and understanding what does what. It is very useful if you have this camera pointed at your front door. I was able to see if the postal services drop off my packages safely instead of tossing it on my front door. The video quailty is great too for the price youre paying its worth it!
That said, This has the easiest setup of any camera I have ever purchased. You don't need to know any networking. If you do know networking and try to set this up like a normal IP camera it probably won't work. It is proprietary to this software and works well with it. Normally with my other IP camera outside, I have to get the iPhone, load the app, hit okay for the Id and password, hit something else to get on my network, 2 more somethings to finally get in and then I see a picture. I saw this EZVIZ ad say "Echo, show my camera" and I said 'That's what I need.'
The setup today was just like all the YouTube videos said, just around a minute and it was up and running. I had already downloaded the Ezviz app onto my phone and it was ready to go. I swear, in 2 minutes I was panning the camera around, zooming in and getting the most excellent picture, sound and all.
Anyway, I didn't get it for all that, I got it to work with my Echo Show. Once it was all set up, I started with the most simplest thing, I thought I'd skip the directions and just try "Echo discover my devices", and sure enough, "1 New device found". It gave it some looooooooong name including a serial number added onto the end which was super easy to change to 'porch' because that's where I'm going to put it. Everything went so smooth I was freaking out, until.... I said "Echo, show me the porch." She said "Okay.....Porch not responding." It wasn't really the porch because I had set it up in the kitchen, but it will be on the porch soon.
AnyWho. After a long chat with 3 customer service ladies and I am hoping this will save everyone some time because no one will ever get this to work until they change this setting unless I accidentally hit it while setting it up. You will need to go into the EZVIZ app to the camera setting icon, the one that looks like a gear and turn off the encryption, or it will never work, period. When you turn it off it will text you a code you have to enter. After that it worked fine. I'm sure they will change the software to make this encryption setting be turned off to save everyone from calling in. It would have all worked in 5 minutes were that not the default setting.
At this time, the Show will not pan or tilt the camera that I can see, but while watching the camera on the show you are allowed to open the app and move the camera with the controls inside the app. There is a delay but it is possible. The picture is being sent to a server in China or who knows where before coming back to you Alexa, so it takes a little while.

Good quality software and hardware, better than most IP cameras. Easy to setup by following screen instructions. Works good with smartphone.
Unfortunately the stated "now be controlled by Alexa" was not true yet. It works with Alexa, but unable to "control" such basic thing as pan and tilt.
It works fine with a smartphone, but it has no built-in web server like FOSCAM and there is no native way to download image to a PC.

This is a very impressive camera works with Alexa show nicely it does buffer when planning but still amazing . I really like its auto pan where it move toward movement or lighting changes very cool product. Beautifully packaged great price at 49 however amazon raised the price the next day 20% interesting how that always seems to happen. Color is great and night vision very good I would give it A Must turn off encryption to have Alexa Show display video.
I plan to use this in conjunction with my Alexa app. At first I was worried because there wasn’t much in the way of instructions in the box. The initial setup turned out to be quite easy. I plugged it in, then used my phone to capture the QR code which plugged in all the information needed to kick it off. I installed the EZVIZ app and Alexa Smart Home Skill from where I enabled the app (just like discovering lightbulbs or other items). All that was about 5-10 minutes.
After the Alexa link was setup I probably spent 15-20 minutes ‘playing’ with the pic and video setting options. There are options for audio, sleep time, pan and zoom, tracking motion, etc.
I was really surprised at how sharp things look even after reading what others wrote about good images. My expectations were much lower. The audio really picked up - I have a wall clock about 4 feet from the unit and I heard the ticking through this unit. It took me a bit to realize what it was because I didn’t think that would be picked up.
I was in the market for a camera that I could use to watch my fur baby while I’m at work. This was the only item I could personally find that had 2 way audio, rotating camera up/down sideways, and HD quality. My first package got lost in the mail but I finally received my new one last night, took me less than 10 minutes to program it very simple and straight to the point, my only complaint is that my WiFi didn’t pair up with the camera so I had to use my internet cable and it was midnight so customer service was unavailable. However I did notice that the motion tracking is a little glitchy sometimes and when my dog runs across the living room super fast it can’t keep up with her or it’ll stop (as if she never ran past it), but that’s no problem because I can always manually move it around. Very good product for the price! I will update if anything comes up! Definitely recommend
Awesome camera. My son has a pretty big playroom and the motion tracking never lets him get out of sight. Really helpful while I work and don't have to keep adjusting the camera view. I've also been pretty impressed with the video quality, better than other "1080p" cameras that I've used. Only gripe I have is that I wish I'd be able to view longer than 5 minutes at a time. Not a big deal though because a quick click and it's up again, I guess it helps make sure I'm actually watching, lol.
this little camera is amazing! the 1080p is amazing quality. you can zoom in and things are still clear. installation is a breeze. everything is working great on it. can control it from anywhere via the app in case you want to move it. 2-way audio is great! awesome camera for the price!!
