So far, this looks perfect. Perfect size for us definately-- it doesn't take up too much space but provides lots more space than our old small upright one. I had a much smaller one and it literally was half the size in the interior when you opened it up. This one is almost the full size of the chest, which concerns me that it won't cool as well but my neighbors have it and love it. They have two large comforters neatly folded on top of it which they say keeps it colder inside, but they didn't mention this was a problem.
And FYI, the first one was delivered HEAVILY damaged and looked like a truck hit it. Customer Service rep was great though and just asked for pics so they could file a claim with the shipment co. (can't recall if FedEx or UPS). Once I sent the pics, they issued a full refund and said keep the old one and use it or donate it. Unfortunately, it's too damaged to safely use, but I will put it at the curb for anyone interested in the parts!
Mine arrive with a couple of scratches and dings. I debated keeping it, but the box it came in was in pretty bad shape, didn't even have a bottom to it, just some black "paper" taped in place; repacking and returning would have been problematic to say the least. So I kept it, and it's worked just fine, keeps everything nice and frozen, which is what it's supposed to do. Never heard of this brand and so can't speak as to how long it will last, but for now I'm quite pleased.
This freezer (Della 3.5 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer Upright Door with Power on Indicator Light) works fine. It was very well packaged and I received it in the good conditions. The price is great! If you're looking for a cheap freezer for household use this one will certainly be good.
A Great little freezer, but it did have a bent corner. There was no damage to the shipping box, so I expect it was bent in the factory or in packaging.
We needed more freezer space but didn't want to suck up space in our garage. This unit fit perfectly in our Laundry Room and it has been so sturdy, reliable, and useful, that I don't know what we'd do without it. I recommend this unit if you looking for just enough space to augment your Refrigerator's Freezer. Good price, good performance, spacious and attractive. Quit too.
