I purchased the Kindle in white because I had read reviews saying that the letters tended to rub off on the darker color faster. I never liked the white and felt the color was a little distracting when I was reading. I purchased the skin mostly to jazz up the look of my Kindle and add a little personality. I was pleasently surprized to find that the texture also made it more comfortable to hold and added some grip. The skin fits great, no bubbles or slipping, once you get it where you want it, it is there to stay (at least until you buy another one to switch it over). Thanks to Amazon for making all my purchases a breeze.
The colors and image rendering are wonderful. The title says it all: Violet Tranquility. It was relatively easy to apply, the back was definitely easiest. Great way to keep Kindle oil/dirt free from messy fingers and wipes off easily.
I have seen various reviews on the Kindle, both good and bad. I purchased my Kindle prior to Christmas and wanted to get some hours of use before jumping into a review. I am very pleased!!! Words appear very clear on the Kindle, even if outside on a clear sunny day.
The Kindle was easy to configure and took very little time to learn all the features.
I would highly recommend the Kindle. Like any product, I am sure there is a risk of getting a lemon, but I have always had good luck when purchasing items via Amazon.

I love having a kindle skin on my Kindle. It personalizes it for me. There are sooo many choices that everyone can find their own personal style. The skin was extremely easy to put on (I'd been worried about that) and stays on beautifully. This is a set of vinyl decals for the kindle. It fits perfectly, and the design is beautiful. The price is a bit high, hence the four star rating. It applies easily: just lay it over the surface, line it up and gently smooth it into place. It won't adhere until you press it down, so lining it up is simple. I have a case for the kindle, and the skin does not interfere at all with the clasps that hold the device in, so using them together is fine. I'm a little iffy about the stickers for the buttons: I think they will be the first to go when the corners start to pull up. All in all, a good product, but costs just about double what it should.

The decal looks just like it does in the picture. I found the back very easy to peel off and get attached to my Kindle. The front with all of the keyboard having stickers for each letter was a bit more of a challenge. Lining things up was overall easy, and you were left to decide if you wanted to put the decals on the page forward/backward buttons as well.
Overall I'd recommend this as a way to keep your Kindle in good condition.
I love the Violet Tranquility Decal! If you're looking for a protective case- this is not it! The Decal is an adhesive vinyl skin. So it protects against scuffs and scratches. Easy to apply, a little more difficult to take off if you want to switch up decals. Very happy with purchase and fast shipping!
This is definetly the way to take your kindle and make it yours. with more and more kindles in use it's nice to be able to take yours and personalize it. Even though the skins are uses by alot of people the chances that you run into someone with the same skin is probably a slim chance. these skins are thin enought to still use your cover if you have one, but with a skin why cover is up!
I love this item it made my kindle an example of my tastes. Now, no one would make any mistakes unless they bought the same skin. But, couple this with purple leather case and you have something that makes your heart happy and creates a look for the individual. Thank you.
I still have the old school kindle, and I love this cover. I get tons of compliments on it. Since it is black this skin really makes it more "girly".
