I hunted ducks in cold weather two days in a row. The first day, I wore my new Wader Sox. My feet perspired in the Wader Sox, and my feet ended up freezing cold. I went back to wool socks on day two, and I was much more comfortable. I had high hopes for the product, but it didn't work well for me.
The socks are nice, but in the picture they look like they would come up to your knees. They only come mid- calf on my 5'9" husband.
I will not wear my waders without these. They do not slide down and they protect from waders cutting in to your leg. They also look very sexy wearing them with crocs!
To me these have become an invaluable item when I do most of my fishing. I have 2 pair, a dry pair and a wet pair. I can’t think of wearing waders without these again. I also have a pair that I wear under just neoprene wading bootys that get wet when used. Reason for both pair is if I go fishing in my waders the day after I’ve used them wet, I’ll have a pair that’s is dry to use
Have had these for about a year and still doing great. Keep my feet warm and dry while on my kayak. No regret buying these
