Works great, it just has a little bit of a hard time tracking me.
The new C Series robot is great! It's much faster than gen2 and the audio quality is excellent. Students think it's so cool too!!!

I've been using Swivl since 2016 for educational purposes. Currently, I manage the deployment of 11 units throughout our school network. Because I've been the point person at a network level, I've asked a lot of questions of Swivl's customer care department and I've been very pleased with the caliber of support.
The tech itself is EXTREMELY easy to use! I love that I can provide a brief overview of set up and cloud navigation and teachers and/or school leaders are able to utilize the capabilities without a lot of hassle. It's very easy for a teacher to log in to the app, turn on the robot and marker, and hit record.
EVERY SINGLE time I've had a question or concern (or even a broken robot), the customer care team has responded to help me troubleshoot.
Swivl has helped individual teacher in our network reflect on their teaching; it has provided opportunities for coaches to support teachers when distance would otherwise be a factor; and school leaders have found innovative ways to share video with families to strengthen the ties between home and school.
This is hands-down the best edtech product I have ever used.
I love this little robot. It connects to my phone and tracks my movement as I give presentations. The marker that comes with it allows me to skip between slides I use to present, and serves as a microphone to record my speech. I highly recommend this for any educator who wants to effortlessly record their lectures or presentations.
Great product. Helps capture audio video at a professional level with closed room environments. Works as a personal cameramen. Can be used for educational and professional growth tool. Personal favorite is the remote with built in mic and IR tracking capability. Swivl is MUST have for all those who work in some kind of Schooling System, especially teachers!

Perfect for in class observations. You can get multiple audio/visual inputs. This allows for post class observation of group work activities. "Were they discussing and working how I thought they were?" In general, videoing teachers and having them observe is a game changing developmental exercise. The cloud where videos are stored is pretty user friendly and generally the customer service team has been stellar in terms of responsiveness and a 'customer is right' attitude.
Swivl is an amazing product and I love the fact that you are able to record multiple audio sources simultaneously.
The tracking of the user is smooth and the wireless range for the audio is excellent.
They also keep adding new features and I woke up one day and it had live streaming functions just like that!

Incredibly helpful tool for easily capturing and sharing a 360 degree view of my classroom. I can gain feedback from my peers, reflect upon my work, and most importantly: make sure i'm hearing and paying equal attention to all my students. Highly recommended for all teachers out there!
I use this product in multiple teaching environments. I use it paired with my iPhone 6s and it performs exactly as advertised. I have sent it out with my student teachers and they also have had seamless experiences with it. The app performs exactly as advertised. It is important to have a good WiFi or unlimited data plan so the device can upload the video to the app. I have also used the Swivl to record lectures and powerpoints for upload to our university CMS for sharing. The audio is great with the attached dongle. I have not used this with multiple recording devices, but it has been a life changer for student teachers in need of recording their teaching experiences.
This was great to video my class without anyone's help. The small microphone that I keep with me worked great and the robot moved with me offering a smooth move when I am walking.
