Lock battery problem seems to be fixed. My unit has been in use for three weeks of daily use and battery shows 90%. My one big complaint is that the lock loses the internet connection many times a day, sometimes every 10 minutes. Yes, the camera is within 25 ft of the lock.
I have not had the time to call support yet, but will try that soon.
For the most part I love this product. I do wish since this is being used in a 3 flat apartment building I could give some contol to the tenants so they could use it with amazon since it is on our outside door. I also with the Post Office would be able to use it. Mostly since the Post Office doesn’t I leave it open during the day and wish I could set the auto relock to occur between the hours of 8am and 6 pm. Currently I have to set it daily to turn on in the evening and off in the morning. But overall I do love the way I can use my phone anywhere to control it.
Works great and haven’t had any issues with both the kwikset 916 door lock and the cloud cam. We live on a busy street so we use the amazon in-house delivery for most of our deliveries. The Amazon key app itself is nice, it notifies me and records deliveries, let’s me lock/unlock the door remotely, set guest codes, and also let’s me put a timer on when to lock the door. My only issues I have are with the door lock screen sometimes not detecting my touch when inputting our door code. Last one is more of an amazon issue, not sure why but my fiancé doesn’t have the in-home delivery option from her account.
Every now and then the keypad won’t register the code on the first try but I’ve never been locked out. Prime delivery is perfect now. I live in downtown Chicago, so no more stolen packages! Also friends can come over when I’m out of town, and it alerts you when they show up.
Best purchase I ever made to make my life easier. I unlock the door before I get out of the car then I can load up on groceries to carry in. Can’t wait for amazon to make an Apple Watch app so that I can unlock the door even easier!

Perfect! Deliveries are awesome and secure. Plus, you get a notification a minute or two before so if you just want to grab the door you can.
This thing is amazing. I get notified whenever the door is unlocked and then I can review or see live who is in the house and speak to them.
This system works awesome. We also love the fact it can be rekeyed y us in just minutes. This has really helped us with our rentals
Fantastic product. Easy to setup and has worked well so far.
I love this when it works. A few times during delivery it doesn't work so I have to remotely unlock to allow package delivery inside.
