I have only had this blocking set for a couple of weeks and am using it now for the first time. I really like the thick blocks. I only needed to use 4 blocks but I did put them all together and they all fit nice and snugly and the grid lines are straight and match up. Although the blocks are numbered 1-9, I found that when putting them in different arrangements the grid lines match up also. I'm so glad it came with the t-pins because I needed a lot more than I thought I would. This is my first time blocking one of my crochet projects and it went perfectly.
Blocking mats worked out well , I wish the box that they came in was big enough for all nine mats , would be great to store all 9 mats but only fits 8 .
I love these blocking mats. I had never had to use the blocking process before however one of my projects required the strips to be blocked. These worked wonderful. They are light weight, the color does not run when you get them wet and they snap together perfectly.
I always wanted blocking mats to finish my knitted and crochet projects. It contains plenty of pins and a tape measure to accurately block my items to the correct size. These blocks were a great buy compared to others I checked out. These are the “extra thick” ones, also.A quality product at a good price!
These were quickly delivered and the packaging was first rate! Came with pins and a measuring tape as well as the interlocking squares in a bright pleasant red-pink. The stripes all line up easily no matter how you lock these suckers together. I have yet to actually use them for the blocking, but I don't see any problems. And Inspector 12 (our cat Willow) has more than approved of the mat. She's purred and wiggled and napped and loved every inch of them. Oh, and I bought two sets hoping to fasten them together into a bigger mat so I can do an afghan and it worked just as I had hoped. I give this two thumbs up. I'd give it five stars, but since I haven't blocked anything on it, I thought I'd be a little conservative on my stars.

The box came with the tape straining to keep it shut. I read a prior review that box holds 8 blocks.. not the 9 in set. How silly? And I am sure once I take them out, I will never get them all back in one place. Bummer. Wouldn't stop me from buying it again but sure would be nice to have customer service send a replacement storage box that is appropriately sized :-)
I did like the place to store pin container and tape on top.

This are really nice and thick---so you can starch your blocked item and the table or surface you put it on is protected. I love the option of different colors too, and the box came with a measuring tape and pins. I just put it all back in the box when I'm done!
