I love having a car charger since I couldn't afford to purchase the Kindle in a bundle that had wifi (they don't sell one). So I will keep more books downloaded from the cloud so I don't run out of reading material. With the car charger, I can read forever since I can charge my new Kindle if I forget to keep the Kindle charged because I will downloaded more from the cloud since I need wifi. Don't spend $66 to purchase from Amazon, I got mine (new, I might add) from another person or place listed on Amazon for $9.99 - quite a difference in price!
I AM GLAD I GOT IT A LOT BETTER MADE THAN THE OTHER 2 I BOUGHT FROM WAL-MART. THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE MADE A LOT BETTER THAN ANY I HAVE SEEN.
I bought this to use on my son's Kindle when traveling. However, I found that I can also use it with any other USB devices I may need, so I just keep this plugged in and put in the cord I need. I have used it for the Kindle, Ipad, Iphone and Halo so far.
doesn't take too long to charge
Even tho I don't own a car, these are worth buying simply to have a contrasting cable color when you're charging several items out of the same multi-USB adapter. Very practical. Gave the car adapter to a friend as it's fine for any USB-ended cable, not exclusively for Kindle cables.

I haven't used it much, but it seems to work and keeps the kids kindle charged while my grandson is using it in the car. It's nice to have while you're traveling as you seem to use the battery up quickly on the kids kindle.
It works well and we use it frequently, both in the car and at home. This dual use was the main reason we bought it.
Works, is pretty. Use this brand many times over, have not been disappointed. Use with my kindle fire phone.
