It was a decent wine refrigerator until it died today after less than 5 months of usage. It's out of Amazon warranty and will need to reach out to manufacturer, however my hopes are not high.
UPDATE:
I will add 2 more stars solely on the manufacturer replacement because after contacting vendor they shipped a new unit for free (in fact, they never asked me to ship the old unit back, it sits in my garage boxed up ready to shipt, but I ain't paying for shipping for sure). However, I am not really sure if new unit will last much longer because it already started making similar sounds as the one that died after 5 months of usage, and this new unit has been only running for a month.
UPDATE2 (06/03/2014)
So far, this replacement unit is running without any issues. I'm bumping review to 5 stars as wine cooler is running without issues and looks very nice (love that blueish LED light that illuminates entire kitchen area at night), good to have two zone cooling, plus customer support care was excellent. Would buy again.
First off, whoever designed the packaging for this cooler should get an award. I don't see how it could be done any better. Easy to get out, but heavily padded in all directions and a nice sturdy box.
I've only had it a few days, so no comments on reliability, but out of the box it worked beautifully. Quickly reached set temps and has held them +/- 0° as far as I can tell - every time I see it the temps are what I set it for. Very quiet running as well.
Design is subjective, but I think it looks great. Very sleek and polished.
This is a nice little refrigerator that we bought to keep near our bar. It works well so far (we've had it for a few months). It is a little noisy (there's a constant hum) but it's far enough away from our living room area that we don't really notice it much anymore. There's also a blue light that you'll see at night but for me it's kind of like having a night light on that side of the house so I don't really mind it. We really didn't think long enough before purchasing one though because in hindsight I wish we had gotten a little different set up - maybe a narrower one or one that would easily fit both larger and smaller wine bottles. This is working fine though and we've just been keeping the larger bottles of wine in the regular refrigerator.
To replace our Cuisinart wine cooler, we purchase the Wine Enthusiast 18 bottle dual zone and we liked it so much we purchased a second one. It is very quiet and keeps the temperture within reason. It will hold 13" long bottles and the bottom shelve will hold champagne bottles head first.
If I had thought about it more I would have purchased a 36 bottle single temperture and used it for both white and reds at around 50 degrees and remove a shelve or two to be able to stand a few bottles if necessary and or have space for a few Pelligino bottles.
We bought this as a wine fridge to have in our newly remodeled kitchen/dining area. We have a large one in the basement that works well but wanted one to have a few bottles on wine on hand and easily accessible. This fills the bill. It is sleek, looks just like it should as a built-in and keeps the wine the right temperature. It is also very quiet--essential in our open space living area. I would definitely recommend this little fridge.

The wine fridge is great; the only minor complaint is that it is a little louder than I originally anticipated/ No other complaints. The fridge is our first wine fridge and the wife states she does notice a difference in the taste. Our average wine bottle is between nine and seventeen dollars. I hope this review helps with your purchasing decision.
I have read so many reviews and compared so many different models. At first, I was really skeptical about its noise because the cooler would sit right behind me at my desk. I don't hear a thing. It's a beauful piece with a front dark mirror and inside light button. I am really happy about my purchase. I couldn't believe it fit so perfect in my space and it didn't expect it would look that nice.
Attractive piece, looks well in living room. Top one temperature for reds, bottom cooler for whites and allows for champagne as well. Maintains temperatures very well. Runs silently and blue lights on door for temps look nice. Great packaging, no issues!
Ordered this wine refrigerator after weeks of research. Seems like the ratings were dependent on who (and where) it was reviewed.
Anyway, went ahead and bit the bullet given the price and features, and it arrived last Friday. No damages, everything was where it was supposed to be, all documents were included, etc. READ THE OWNER'S MANUAL and let it "settle" for a couple of hours before plugging it in and setting the temperatures (a snap, by the way) in the upper/Red area to 65 degrees, and the lower/White area to 50 degrees. I loaded it up with our wines on hand, and let it go overnight. By morning, the temps read spot on; 65 on top, 50 on the bottom, and the bottles were cool (lower cooler than upper, of course). On Sunday, reset the lower to 48 degrees, which it got to in under an hour.
Read that "oversized" bottles wouldn't fit. Interesting. Put a bottle of sparkling wine in the lowest receptacle, and while tight, it did fit, so am a little puzzled at that one. Maybe all wine bottles won't fit, but it does the job for what I need.
So, based on what I've experienced so far, 5 stars. Of course, I reserve the right to modify this based on longer term performance, but as of right now, I couldn't have asked for more.
Update: 5 months later, and still working like a charm. One feature that would be nice is a "temp memory" so that in the event of a power failure, it retained the existing settings. First time it happened I thought that the fridge had gone bad. But, reset to the desired temps and good to go.
It is great, super compact, runs very quiet, holds temp. Only negative is that larger bottles (champagne etc.) don't fit, or only one at a time cross-wise.
