I could not be happier with my purchase! I am disabled and have very poor use of my hands; these scissors slide over my fingers smoothly and comfortably and cut anything from light paper to heavy, thick tape along the entire length of the scissor, from base to tip and anywhere in between with ease.

They can be used in either hand with the same ease and cutting ability and require almost no effort to accomplish whatever task you put them through.

I'm not familiar with the name of the company, but I am getting enough scissors to keep in every room of the house!

(My rating is spontaneous and is not given because of any trade for goods or services!)

Two years later, these scissors are going strong! No rust, no discolorations. The best way to keep them sharp is to clean them after each use, and use rubbing alcohol to remove duct tape residue.

I used to spend a lot of money to get my expensive sewing shears sharpened, but about ten or twelve years ago, I decided to try some inexpensive shears instead. So I bought these.

I have been using them for at least a decade, and I'm shocked at how well they stay sharp. They are better than any mid-grade sewing shear I've ever had. I've paid MUCH more for scissors that go dull much more quickly.

I also have these in the desk for craft and home use, and those stay sharp for a long time, even despite cutting things like cardboard, paper, tape, plastic, etc.

These just might be the best scissor buy I've ever made.

Long ago we stopped purchasing kitchen sheers because they're just not sharp enough for a lot of things we need them for, and honestly they don't hold up very well. We've been using regular scissors for a while now, and replace them as we need to when they get worn/rust/break.

These are two pairs of VERY sharp scissors that have been working flawlessly for about a month now. We meal prep our meals for a few weeks at a time, and then vacuum seal our meals into 1-meal-per-person packs. This means we open lots of things in our kitchen! These have no issue cutting through plastic, but yet feel durable enough to handle other tasks as well. They have been used a few times to roughly cut herbs as well, so they function in that regard as well. The best part is that for the price and the fact that they came in a 2-pack means we will have sharp scissors for multiple years to come.

These are very sharp, tough scissors and are priced really well at $6.30 for a set of two pair currently. The only thing I would like is to have the blades be a bit longer. They are pretty short, somewhere around 3.5 inches. If they were 5 or 6 inches, these would probably be the only brand of scissors I would buy. They do cut well through tough things like cardboard and other things that regular household scissors struggle with. I am happy with them but I removed a star because the blades are pretty short and that makes a little more work when cutting longer items. Still, I recommend these Westcott scissors, They are sharp and stay sharp.

This is my third pair of Westcott titanium scissors. I, unfortunately, used their predecessor to cut wire, pry things out of spaces, succumbing to things no scissor should have to endure. He tried to rise to the challenge but ended up fraying the last ribbon he was ever to cut. He was retired to the scissor graveyard where he was repurposed as a garden tool. I will attempt to be more cautious in my crafting adventures and refrain from inflicting the same type of abuse on the new twins. Wish them luck.

Short and sweet, I continue to purchase these scissors for us in my business.

For most day-to-day applications, the scissors work very well and hold up. These applications may be your typical opening of a box, package, etc. The scissors are very sharp and maintain a nice cutting edge; I have yet to see the two halves separate or develop gaps.

The only issue I run into is when they get into heavier duty situations. I use these in our cable assembly business for cutting thicker items (heatshrink, heavy duty metal tapes, and so on). Typically I see broken handles after two to three (2 - 3) months of use. Again, this is heavy duty application.

All-in-all, the Cost-Benefit is still there; the cost of the scissors versus how they cut and the initial quality makes them a continued buy for me. They are worth the price you pay.

These aren't the best scissors available, but they are an excellent quality given the price. I bought this pair to place in my miscellaneous junk drawer and for my desk. Those Dollar Store scissors may do okay, but they definitely have a short life, and these scissors are much higher quality. I cut corrugated cardboard with these and didn't have a problem but honestly, I wouldn't use these for anything heavier than flat cardboard (gift box weight). Comfortable handle but nothing special.

Good quality scissors that do exactly what they are designed to do, which is to cut things. The grips seem to hold up nicely and feel great in your hand. Definitely not going to give you blisters after too much use. The blades do seem pretty sharp, hopefully they will last quite a while.

Overall, this is a decent pair of scissors at a great price. I would recommend!

Very good quality scissors at a great price (lightening deal)! If the titanium coating on the blades lasts for a few years, I'd consider these a 5 star product. Since I can't yet tell if they'll last as long as I hope, I've only given them 4 stars for now.
I can definitely say these scissors are excellent for general cutting needs. I've used them on multiple types & thicknesses of paper, cardboard, thread & leather cord. They've cut cleanly & easily. I have medium sized women's hands & these scissors are very comfortable to hold & use, even for an extended period of time (approx, 1/2 hour cutting paper).
At present, I highly recommend them!

I gave four because you can see space between the blades and it's slightly bent. Shouldn't affect anything for normal cutting projects, just being finicky and noticed that. The soft grip handle is great & they look cool and feel good. Six bucks or so for two of them, couldn't go wrong.
