Looks exactly like on pictures posted for product. I have two of those cases Turquoise and Pink.
The stand is standing just fine. It doesn't flip over with Fire in it.
It's for Kindle Fire, 7" Display, Wi-Fi, 8 GB - 5th Generation - 2015 release. We have two Fires, and they fit just fine in this case. It's tight, but it has elastic on each side - just pull harder, and insert Fire.
"Magnetic closure keeps the cover securely shut" - yes, it's truth.
Price - of course I wish it would be cheaper. I bought Kindle Fire for $50 and case for $15.
Fits the 5th Generation Kindle Fire I purchased at the same time. It has magnets that gently hold it closed when not in use and a small flap on the back which allows the front panel to fold behind the case and prop it in place so it can be used hands free. It is well made and looks good. It's a bit of a stretch to get it on, but the top and bottom retainer straps have short strips of elastic on each end to assist in stretching the straps far enough to get the tablet inside. This case makes the Fire much easier to hold on to and will help protect it if it's dropped. It is an inexpensive way to protect the kindle.
I purchased this for my new Kindle Fire tablet. The price is right and I am pretty satisfied with it.
The quality and fit are really good. It does not add a lot of bulk to the Fire. The Fire is a little slippery without a cover, and this cover makes it easier to grip and carry. All of the ports are readily accessible, as are the buttons for volume, power/lock screen, and USB charging. I do not use headphones on it, but it is accessible too.
The material feels comfortable in my hand, and seems very durable. It looks like it will afford good drop protection too. I have not purposely dropped my Fire to test it, but the edge protection looks really good.
There were only two items that prevented me from giving it 5 stars:
1. The stand that you make by folding the cover does not work very great as a stand. It seems top heavy, and does not work very well in my lap. I was hoping to use it while watching video on the Fire. I still need to support it.
2. Closing the cover does not shut off the screen. It would be nice if the the Fire recognized this. I am not sure if this is an issue with the Fire or the cover.
I like this cover so much that I bought a second one for my spouse's Fire.
Now this is purple! lol I love it. It's a little tight to get the pad into, but done with care it fits very snugly, leaving access to everything (except the slot for the extra memory card, but I feel it's safer that way). I've got my new pad sitting up hands free as I watch a video, and I know that, barring being bumped or an earthquake, it isn't going to fall over. I love it.
It's perfect as a cover. Every thing is protected, all ports are usable, and I feel comfortable tossing the whole bit into my bag for a day out.
However, if you're specifically looking for a stand for your Kindle Fire, you're likely to be disappointed. First, you have to get the soft joint just right, or it won't stay up. And when it does stay up, it's not at a great angle for viewing..it's a little too tilted.
But, in the end, it's a great cover that works as a stand in a pinch, and I can always hold it. For the price, it's pretty great.

Description
this case does the standing thing flawlessly, though I have only done this once when I first got it- just so I could write this revew :)
The more important attribute is that it keeps my new fire tablet safe and sort of clean. It holds its shape, it is sturdy and does not get scratched or bent in my bag or purse. I would definitely recommend this case as I have had others, some a lot more expensive than this one. This is by far my favorite. Reliable closure and even has an elastic loop for a small stylus. your kindle is secured at the corners so no scratching of the screen.
This was one of my favorite prime day purchases, along with my new kindle fire
Got this case, put it on my fire, It is a bit flimsy but is protecting my tablet doing the job, and color is loud enough for me to find it if It gets temporarily out of place. So go for it. I have it sitting on top my desktop tower rite now, it is soft, good for leaning against something. It is not FREE standing, but then again, I did not expect it to be. The stitching is well done, and it fits in my back pants pockets, like a wallet, caution though, don't SIT on the GEAR. When I take it on a car trip, it dose just fine on the dash, or wherever. Don't want my tablet without this cloth cover now ;)
Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that to get it to stand up as shown, it takes several bending and maneuvering of the case. Even now, mine isn't a triangle with straight angles as shown. Maybe with some more time (and bending), it'll get to that point. Otherwise, it does well as a cover - doesn't seem to add any additional (noticeable) weight. Sleek looking.
Just got 3 Kindle Fires and 3 of these covers, one for my husband, daughter, and myself for Christmas. So far we like them very much. The covers hold the Kindle Fire tablets securely and have access holes in all the right places for the buttons, charging port, earphone jack, and microphone. I like that it has a loop for holding a stylus and I may purchase styli in the future. The magnetic closure stays closed properly when the cover is closed. Overall, I feel like the NuPro cover is a good value and quality product so far. Will update if any problem arises.
Bought for my 4 year olds Fire Tablet. She had been propping the tablet up to watch her videos and I thought this would be perfect for her.
The color and fit are nice. The cover flips over and rests in a little tab in the back. Rightnow it seems the hinge is a little stiff due to being new and it needs a little prodding to stand up. I figure once the hinge is broken in it should be fine.
In the end I find it was worth the money spent and my daughter likes it well enough. If she's happy I'm happy.
