Let's get fit out of the way first:
Size-XL
Fit- Mid-rise, Semi Tailored, Stretch Fit Sweatpant
Top of waist side to side un-stretched- 17.5 inches; 22 inches stretched to limit
Top of waist to bottom of crotch- 15.5 inches
Inseam- 32.5
I'm 6'1" with an athletic but thicker build, approximately 195-198 pounds, with fairly large legs and a 32 inch inseam. These pants fit me as if they were custom tailored for me. Now, I rather prefer my sweatpants to be form fitting so please consider that when considering how I look at the way these fit. Also, I prefer to wear my sweatpants right at my waistline.
Roughly speaking, if you're similar to my body type and prefer your sweatpants to fit more tailored or almost like a hybrid running tight, you could pull these off from 5'11"-6'2" and 190-225 pounds. You may be able to even rock them up to 6'3" if you prefer to wear your pants lower than your natural waistline.
On the other hand, if you prefer your sweatpants somewhat baggy in the legs and you are my size or near the ranges I listed, you're going to want to go up to the XXL. For those of you that prefer the loose fit, there's going to be plenty of room in the waist but you're going to dislike the semi tights type of fit in the legs.
For others, based off the way mine fit compared to the charts I'd go:
5'7"-6', 28-31 waist, 135-160 pounds= small for tailored fit, medium for loose fit
5'7"-6', 32-35 waist, 160-185 pounds= medium for tailored fit, large for loose fit
5'9"-6'2", 36-38 waist, 180-205 pounds= large for tailored, Extra Large for loose fit
5'11"-6'2"(6'3" ish if low on waist), 38-41 inch waist, 190-225 pounds= Extra Large for tailored fit, Extra Extra Large for loose fit
6'-6'5", 41-44 inch waist, 225-255= Extra Extra large for a tailored fit, Extra Extra Extra Large for a VERY loose fit
If you're any larger than the above, I would strongly recommend you avoid these pants, especially if you have quite a round belly(No judgement, I just don't think the tailored fit would move with you well. I was once much larger and I can tell you, there's no way I would've bought sweatpants with this type of fit when I was much bigger).
This is now a mini novel but I felt it was very important to give a good idea of real life measurements for these pants because Mission does definitely run small in their more technical pants and shirts, especially the ones meant to be either semi or fully compressive.
Now, my experience with the quality of the pants as well as using them while running, I absolutely love these pants and highly recommend them. The stitching, fit, construction, and technical features, make this a very capable running, hiking, skating, and lifting pant, among others. They wick sweat well and move with me effectively. Also, these do not retain odor at all, from my experience.
Finally, based off my run today, which started in the lower 40's and maxed out at 67, I feel confident saying these will work well in a variety of different temperatures and climates.
Overall, I highly recommend these pants and feel they're an excellent value, especially at the discounted rates you can typically find Mission clothing for. Buy them!
Cheers!
Im 6'1" and 140 lbs, the Medium fits pretty good, just need to keep the draw strings tight. I purchased for my MMA class, i don't yet feel comfortable exposing my skinny chicken legs lol. Much prefer pants anyways. there is lots of stretch and makes any workout comfortable.
These are good stylish pants. They fit well and look good wearing them. I use them all the time especially while working out or going for a run. For most people they might be good in terms of material but for me they were warm after a while. Overall I would highly recommend and will get additional colors.
My husband is a personal trainer and I bought these for him. He weighs 185 & is 5'9. He has muscular thighs and quads so a lot of pants are too tight for him. These are not baggy and are a slimmer fit on him. I got him a large and they fit great. Very well made, has survived many washes, although we always hang dry. Highly recommend. He is picky about his pants and these work great for him. I just bought a 2nd pair.
I love them. I should mention I am female, so am reviewing them from a female perspective, but they are amazing quality and fit really good. I’m 5’7” and 120 pound and I ordered the small and they fit like a women’s small to me...so maybe size up for guys? And they are long enough on me that I usually fold over the waistband. I wear them to work out in and they do a really good job of absorbing moisture and sweat and move and breathe easily. Favorite pair of sweatpants

The fit is a little strange on me fitted from the waist to the top of knee baggy to my calves tight across my calves and baggy to my ankles. Maybe it’s just my body size but I wish they were more fitted or relaxed across all of the legs. Bought them for running and the jury’s still out on if I will use them often.
Got these for my fashion and fitness obsessed brother. He is almost impossible to shop for. After reading the reviews I purchased these pants. At first, he was convinced they wouldn't fit and didn't want to keep. But after trying them on, he said they were slim but a perfect fit. The length fit his long legs and material was ideal for lounging and working out. Would recommend. True to size.
I've recommended these pants to about 10 people, all of whom love them! They're so comfortable, and the slim fit without the traditional jogger cuff at the ankle is really great. I've bought 3 pairs and wear them constantly!
They're ok but expensive for what they are.
Ok, so I'm a little heafty… so they look a little small, but are comfortably stretchy. Great price and material seems like it'll last a bit.
