My wife has macular degeneration. Her eye Dr. prescribed a more expensive medicine, but with the same ingredients as the Lipotriad Visionary AREDS2. We thought we would save some money and try this less expensive brand. We are very pleased to say that after 2 years taking this medicine, my wife's macular degeneration has not advanced at all! And we saved a lot of money!
My ophthalmologist noticed Drusen deposits in one of my eyes on my last visit. He recommended I start taking an AREDS formulation, but he did not specify any particular brand. I did my research and based on ingredient list, ingredient quantities per pill, thoroughness as evidenced through documentation, and customer reviews, I concluded that Lipotriad Visionary is the best formulation available today.
I've been taking it for a few months, which isn't really long enough to notice vision improvements. However, my optomitrist checked my eyes four weeks ago and said he did not see any problems, and he could barely see the Drusen. I'll know more after getting checked again next year by my ophthalmologist, but I am encouraged.
I love that one pill per day is all that is required. I don't like taking pills anymore than anyone else so anything that reduces the number of pills I take every day is helpful. I am forever in debt with the invention of this wonderful product. I was diagnosed with dry macular degeneration and my opthamologist said there was really nothing that could be done. Instead I did some research on my own, on what supplements may help and found Lipotriad Vitamins to have all the ingredients needed in just one capsule!
It's been almost a year since I've been taking Lipotriad Visionary, as I primarily found it at my local CVS drugstore. Unfortunately, it was no longer conveniently available there and was able to find it on Amazon.com.
All in all, since taking Lipotriad Visionary, my opthamologist was surprised what a difference of improvement it has made, with my dry macular degeneration and he is recommending your product to his other patient thanks to my experience I have had, in seeing results!

After my eye doctor told me I should be taking an 'Areds 2 formula', as I had the beginnings of macular degeneration, I started researching them all. As one who avoids artificial stuff in general, this formula stood out to me above the rest: it has natural vitamin e, the d-alpha, not the synthetic dl-alpha; and it has no chemical dyes, which who ever needs that in a pill. It also has a good balance of nutrients as recommended, and in only 1 small cap per day, instead of the more common 2 caps. It's comparably priced and seems to me to be better than other areds 2 formulas. Will bring the box to show my eye dr. this visit, I don't think they are familiar with this brand, and many people would like the option of a more natural formula. Time will tell if an areds2 supplement will help me, but this is one to try.
I cannot state that these are the best vitamins for your eyes, because I haven't taken them long enough. However, I can honestly say these vitamins were recommended for my husband who is in the early stages of macular degeneration and myself to prevent the onslaught of cataracts. They were recommended by an Optometrist and an Ophthalmologist. We picked these because they were recommended for smokers. Some vitamins have an adverse affect on those who smoke. Choose wisely, but know I do recommend this brand.

I once received a trial box of Lipitriad Visionary supplements in a gift bag at a Summer fair, distributed by a local drug store. I'm a middle-aged adult- or at least middle-aged if I plan to live to be 110 or so, lol! The only eye problems I have are dry eyes and Blepharitis. But my mom had some eye issues when she was older.. I felt that it might be a good idea to at least try these vitamins. Soon, I noticed that my Meibomian Glands were producing more liquid and my eyes were less dry!! I continued with these vitamins for awhile, and then switched to their "dry eye" version. Those were about four times larger in size and difficult for me to swallow - and they didn't improve my eye moisture any more than the Lipotriad Visionary did. i have been diagnosed with macular degeneration and Retinal Athropy by my doctor and he recommended that shop around for eye/vision supplement. Having shopped at Amazon before i decided to check out their vitamin supplement Line and found this Product by Lipotriad i bought two bottles and tried the product and i did notice a significant improvement in my eyes, as recomended this product helped a lot To slow down the further progression of both deseases and i am now on my second set of bottles.
As someone with vision problems who wants to avoid macular degeneration I have used similar AREDS 2 vitamins from other companies. When I saw these Lipotriad Visionary eye vitamins for cheaper and the same formula and only needing to have taken as just one softgel per day I had to try them. So far I feel these vitamins are an excellent quality and I think they are working very well for me and just as good as more expensive versions from other companies. I highly recommend trying these. They're really great and I will keep buying these.
I am thrilled with these eye vitamins. They are as good as the "other brand" and I only have to take them once a day, making them a lot more economical.
