I really can’t rave enough about this food. I have two rescue dogs, and they both love it. But this is more about my terrier with the very delicate stomach. He’s approximately 11 years old. I’ve had him since he was 6, he continually had stomach( issues, and often turned his nose up and refused to eat at all, even though I was feeding very high grade dog food. The first time he tried this, my lab mix finished first,and my terrier picked his bowl up in his mouth and took it to his cage...a cage he never goes into. He hasn’t missed a meal in the last 4 months. His stools are firmer, his eyes brighter, and energy level much increased. His arthritis is even better, and though I give him a can each day, he looks to have lost some weight. To me, it’s worth the price!
My 100 lbs greyhound/deerhound loves this canned food. I mix some into his dry food and he gobbles it down each time. He's a bit of a picky eater and I can't really afford the buying him Orijen all the time (he eats 4-5 cups per day). This canned food helps to alleviate some of the guilt I feel. I love that this food is free of all the bad stuff and packed with all the good stuff. I'm also glad that I'm able to help support a company that is so passionate about feeding dogs well/right.
I have a senior dog and we have had to change his diet drastically over the past 2 years. Our guy, sadly, had to have a bunch of teeth removed and has become very sensitive to anything with gluten or grains. I actually first found this brand at our local Sprouts. I very much appreciate the ingredients and our dog loves taste and flavor options! His favorites are the chicken, turkey, and beef. Tons of meat and lots of veggies. We mix with brown rice and it’s a great and healthy meal for our dog. He has responded very well with this formula and has maintained his healthy weight, too! We are a fan and appreciate having the option for subscribe & save.
The only reason why I’ve given the item 4 Stars Is because there have been several months that we’ve received the package with several defective cans do you do shipping just something to watch out for when ordering!
Good ingredients and like real food instead of processed dog food. It’s like a stew. I mix a healing spoonful in with my dogs dry food and she loves it. Without it, she doesn’t want to eat her dry food which is the only one I can find that she’s not allergic to. This canned food is one she isn’t allergic to as well, which is hard to find. She’s even allergic to Newman’s Own. It also had the highest score and healthiest ingredients on the pet food website I go to to check the ingredients and ratings in pet foods.
I bought this canned dogfood in part because of price; I have been a fan of Whole Earth Farms products but the price keeps going up, so I wanted to look around. My primary consideration of course is the quality of the product. My resource for this is a website called Dog Food Advisor (.com, of course). They list darn near every pet food produced and review it based on a star rating (for $15 you can get a premium service which really just makes your searches easier but otherwise the site is free). If you sign up, they also have an automatic alert service for any pet products that have been recalled. It's a great resource!
That said, I like the "love and you" canned foods because my dog likes them.
Dog Food Advisor ranks their canned dog foods at 5 stars, and I do too!

Children’s books cannot seem to agree on the Noises that dogs make. Sometimes it’s “bow Wow.” other times it’s “Woof” or “art” or “Ruff.” but really, the only thing your dog will say after eating our grain free, protein-packed Canned food is “oh My dang. This is flipping’ phenomenal.”
We give our fur baby 1/4 cup of wet food every day, along with 3/4 cup of his kibble. He chowed it right down!! No tummy upset at all! I love how you can see the pieces of meat and veggies in this food. As you refrigerate what's left in the can, the second day he let it get sit for about 15-20 minutes before he ate it, but that's because he doesn't like anything completely chilled. I also have a snap on lid that I had previously bought at the store that perfectly fits the can and keeps the leftovers fresh! One can feeds him for 4 days along with his kibble. More healthy AND cheaper overall than store bought brands! He loves his I and love and you food and treats! Our Loki loves your food! <3
This is all I've fed my dog for years now. I love that you can see the chunks of meat and veggies and actually identify what food goes into making this, it isn't just a can of unidentifyable mush. Makes me feel good about feeding it to him!
Very highly rated, not too expensive (though some flavors are more than others), and my dog loves it. I've been mixing it with his dry food and he gobbles it up. I also like that it's a stew consistency, rather than the paste that some other brands give you. That paste stuff never wants to un-stick itself from the spoon as I'm scooping it out, but this pours out nicely. First-time buyer and I can tell you right now that I'll be purchasing this brand again. Keep up the good work!
I was hesitant to switch my dogs to a new wet food as one of them has a touchy stomach and we've had them on a specific brand for several years. We transitioned to this food and my dogs have not had one single issue with it. They seemingly love it (hard to tell, they love all food) and the price point is great for a high quality grain free dog food.
My Shih Tzu is THE pickiest dog on Earth. She is underweight because she turns her nose up at everything, even home cooked food. She has never, ever even tasted any canned dog food, just smells it and walks away. I decided to try this food because I liked the ingredients list and it received 5 stars on Dog Food Advisor. It's a Freakin' miracle!!! She eats it without hesitation and licks the bowl clean. I wish I would have tried this food long ago.
