System itself is fantastic, easy to use, compact and portable, it will change the way you drink wine!! Downside...A clear cut price gouging scheme when it comes to replacement Argon cartridges. Coravin cartridges have an exclusive fitting that no other cartridges have so they will not fit the unit. They're then charging more than TRIPLE what the other Wine preservation manufacturers are charging for essentially the same thing. 2 Coravin cartridges= $25 after shipping or $12.50 per cartridge (almost $1 per 5oz. pour). Other manufacturers come in around $3-4 per cartridge after shipping. C'mon Coravin, that's just dishonest, you're already making your $$ up front with the astronomical price of the unit itself, regarding the cartridges it's just greedy. A disappointing tarnish on an otherwise fantastic product.
Coravin rules. The front-end cost seems high, but it pays for itself in no time. or people who want 1 - 2 glasses, but are afraid to let a whole bottle go bad, this system has a high return on investment. Ours paid for itself in less than three months with saved wine!

Really works well for me and I am saving a lot of good wine..I am surprised that some look for cheap capsules, it is food you are drinking, I would not go for cheap compatible.
Notice a difference in the aeration of the wine. It is a little altered, but this is the only way to keep the wine for more than the normal 3 days. We just don't finish a bottle that fast and this gives us a way of preserving it longer.
These are great. makes opening a bottle of good wine alright because I don't have to worry about it ruining before all drunk. These fit perfectly in the Coravin wine opener.

Just had half a bottle we had corovin'd a month ago. It was perfect. About 50 cents a glass to use the corovin but turn any bottle into a split. Wine time used to be splitting a bottle. Now it's tasting 3 or 4 bottles. Five stars
My husband loves them. He is sommelier and finds them better than others that he has tried.
Want a great glass of wine but know you only want one or two glasses. These work great! Had wine two weeks after and it was like I just opened the bottle. Great way to save money especially in fine wines.
We're getting 3 to 4 bottles out of a single cartridge. Wish it would go a little further, but I can't complain that much for what it does.
