I've bought many Itoya Art Profolios in the past in all sorts of sizes from 8x10" to 13x19". They have so far all held up despite being fully loaded down with artwork, and I am able to flip through them very easily with no issues. However, I store the Profolios lying down rather than vertically, as some may want to do, so not sure about how that affects longevity. All of the portrait and landscape Profolios I've bought so far all have protective sleeves that open at the top, and the dimensions are just very slightly wider/longer than what is listed so that your work will fit comfortably if they are exactly the same as the listed dimensions. The black sheets they give you in each protective sleeve frames your work or photographs very nicely. The silver spine in the photographs is actually a slip of paper you can take out and reverse to mark down a title, dates, etc. to be displayed on the spine.
I use these Art Profolios pretty much just for artwork. For sketches and drawings on regular cellulose paper (ie. paper made from a tree), I usually glue it down to the black backing sheets with an acid-free glue (can also use acid-free tape). I also like removing the backing sheets for the storage of paintings on cotton paper. I've had no issue so far with putting in artwork done on various paper weights. It will even take 140 lb paper, even when you stuff two in every sleeve; there just may be some crowding near the spine, which can be solved by putting in paintings that are slightly less wide.
I have a couple of Itoya art portfolios in various sizes for my family photos and I LOVE them. Photo albums for 5 x 7, 8 x 10, or 10 x 13, is hard if not impossible to come by so it's nice to have these available and it's even better that the price point is reasonable. Great way to store photos when they aren't currently displayed!
I get 8x10 autographs at Comic Con and this is perfect for carrying around at the Con and for showing off my autographs later.
A really nicely made portfolio for important documents or writing samples. Also great for photos and other art pieces. My son needed an inexpensive portfolio to show off some art pieces for a high school application and this was perfect. Note the size when purchasing as it's 8x10 and not letter size.
I was looking for something to condense and store all the professional photo prints I have of my family and this fit the bill. In fact, I underestimated how many I have and will be ordering a second portfolio. Years of school pictures and family pictures add up! It's sturdy and slim, and fits 48 prints into under a half inch. The price is excellent, too. Highly recommend!

The book also features an insert in the spine so you can add a bit of customization to your display book as well.
I update the photos in my 8x10 photo frames frequently, and I needed somewhere to put the photos that I change out. These books are a great way to save those photos and have them ready on hand for anyone to look at. Books of this size are not readily available, so I recommend getting these.
Had some pro prints, 8x10, that needed an album and I don't actually do albums.
Went with this. It's brilliant. Looks like a low profile portfolio and doesn't cost enough to make me care about spending money on it.
I love how nice it looks and how clear the pages are I especially love that you can change the back of it and love the pocket inside perfect to hold resume and pictures . Highly Recommend worth it !!!
Absolutely requisite for any artist! Durable, and sleek design. I am confident that my art is protected.
