I'd seen the commercials on television and come across ads in the papers, but didn't really believe that something so light-weight could really solve my problem. As one who collects photographs and paintings and needs a way to hang them on walls without doing too much damage--which is to say without leaving too many holes in them--I've recognized the need for a better way, but simply couldn't convince myself that that better way had been found. Take it from me--it's been found. Pictures do not fall down or rip gaping holes in painted walls. And if measurements are off and hangers need to come down and be placed more accurately, Command's picture hangers can easily accommodate those efforts too while leaving no tell-tale trace of where the hangers were initially placed. I love the product and recommend it to any thinking about giving their walls a workout too.

I've hung 8x12 photos on one of these, albeit the frames were not ultra heavy. The packaging states these hooks can withstand that much, and so far, it has been true. Just follow the instructions, which call for cleaning of the surface, and giving it time to set. I find that putting pressure on the strip for a few minutes to help it get into the texture of a surface seems to help a lot. Whether it's holding it with your fingers or just putting something on top of it and leaning against it for awhile, all of ours have held up very well. Some of them have been up for over a year.

I use these because I live in an apartment with concrete construction. While we are allowed to drill into the walls, it seemed to me like a bit of extra work with an impact drill and such for a picture, and these are very easy to use, convenient, and doesn't have any clean up to do afterwards besides throwing away the adhesive strips.

I've used these hangers for two pictures. I had to relocate the first picture I had hung and found it easy to remove the adhesive parts and there was no evidence left where they had been installed. I had to double up with two hangers for a heavier frame and it seems to be holding well. My only gripe with these hangers is that it's impossible to make minor adjustments once you have stuck the bottom stabilizer strips to the wall and you have to remove the part attached to the wall and try again. I had my wife stand behind me and coach me on my placement of the frames before I stuck the stabilizer strips to the wall.

I was a bit worried that the product I received was old or defective because it didn't come in the same packaging you see in stores. However, I proceeded according to the instructions and have successfully hung three items! One on drywall and two on a glass backsplash tile. I was skeptical with the glass tile, but everything seems secure. These certainly cost more than hammering a picture hook in the wall, but if they save the wall, great! And they're a great solution on the glass tile where pounding in a nail is not an option. Two thumbs up. Follow the instructions. I also waited til the next day to hang anything.

These are just the greatest invention, along with all the other Command picture hanging gizmos they have come up with! I have some cheap prints and frames that I wanted to put up in my little girl's room. I don't know how long we'll be living here, so I didn't want to put holes in the walls. The frames had the hooks in the back, so I tried these out, rather than the strips that attach to the frame, which I have used on other artwork throughout the house. The frame was too narrow to stick those onto.
These have been up for a couple of months now, and they are still holding. I occasionally bump one of the pictures and neither it nor the hook has fallen of the wall.
We've had very humid weather here and they also have not fallen off. I am pretty sure they are going to stay until I decide to take them off. I hope they don't peel the paint off. :-)

Living in an apartment I don't like putting holes in walls I need to repair later, these work great. Keep in mind like any tape like substance, after a few years it should be replaced, which is reasonable. That being said, after 2-3 years I never had one fail yet.

Command hooks are great, especially if, like me, you rent. We have a lot of family photos/art that we like to hang up so our rental space has a more "lived in" feel. Bare walls are boring! These worked really well because they are so low profile that the frame doesn't stick out at an angle from the wall. Also, Amazon had the best price per quantity. I couldn't find them at Walmart beside a one-pack and Target was overpriced.

I was was reluctant to try these adhesive picture hangers, recalling my college days when they would soon fall off the wall, no matter how light the object you'd hung on them. But if you follow the directions -- which are easy -- these actually do the job. My husband loves that he gets to preserve our freshly painted walls from nail holes.

Have worked perfectly since installation a few months ago. The pictures I hung with these have a wire across the back, not a saw-tooth bracket, and weigh about half the rated hanging capacity. The paint on the wall has an orange peel/spatter finish which is a couple of years old, and was tested ahead of time using two Command hangers of lower capacity for each picture.

These work great but I did have one incident where one of the hooks fell off the wall. It was on a particularly hot day so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it. I replaced the hook on the wall a few weeks ago and the painting hasn't been disturbed since. The frame/painting together way maybe 2 1/2 pounds and I used two hooks (one on each side.) Long rectangle. The frame and picture weren't damaged.
